lowyhong: Let me know if you're playing it. I'll take you out on a pirate scout.
Sure thing, will check it out tonight.

Another game that sounds cool, since it has been suggested so much, I'll check it out also.
Actually Entropia was also the first I had in mind after reading the OP. It has massive sandboxy stuff & all that + looks very good.

!!!BUT!!!!: For in whatever power you belive in sit on your wallets until you at least have some hours /played under your belt & have a generel Idea about its economy. Its free to play but potentially the most expensive MMO I know.

Golden Rule!: Do not play it with the hope to get rich! Play it for fun, otherwise there is a EXTREMLY big chance that you are one of the next ppl in the net yelling scam, ripoff and whatnot because you blew 1k $ in a week and cannot affort a single new bullet anymore.

crdy123: not un-like SWG pre-NGE (best MMO ever made)
While I liked a lot of concepts from the pre-NGE/CU version of Star Wars Galaxies, I think the latest (and last) version made it a much more solid game than it ever was. Still, it's a shame that it doesn't exist anymore, in one form or another.

Definitely the best MMOG ever made.

Nirth: Almost done with tutorial in Entropia Universe. I have only defeated one enemy, the combat seems about the same as any other but that's okay as long as crafting, building and the economic system is decent.

I tried Wurm Online once but I had some issues actually playing, I think it required payment. Is it possible to play at all now for free, at least in the beginning?
1º I downloaded Entropia:P
2º Wurm still has a payment service. You can play for free but with restrictions: You cannot raise skills above X value, some terraforming options are unavailable, and so on. You can get silver coins in game to buy premium time by selling crafts, but is nearly impossible to accomplish that as a beginner.
Wurms, Ryzom and Entropia look really interesting, so thanks for the recommendations! I think I'll check them out.

Don't get me wrong, I still prefer NGE because it was the only version I played up until I tried SWGEMU last week, I was referring to the fact that you got more freedom in pre nge, than you did in post. They should bring back SWG NGE as f2p, and those who want pre cu/nge play SWGEMU.

Elmofongo: I always wondered, is there or will there be a mmo with complee mods support for people to make their own dungeons and quest?
Think you're supposed to be able to do that in the forthcoming Neverwinter...

Perhaps not "complete mod support", but Ryzom has player-made quests.

While that is true to an extent, basically you go into an instance created by a player, but, that player has to be online and grant you access to the instance, its not ever really used tbh.

Licurg: Sacri... Oh wait, that's not an MMO. This then:
The day they make a Sacrifice MMO is the day you die of a heart attack.
Well, Entropia Universe is interesting but seriously, the ads they make for the game that you can make money is lame.

Apparently the best in the beginning is to destract sweat from enemies. You need about 1000 Vibrant Sweat for 3 PED and 10 PED = 1$. I've about 50 Vibrant Sweat and that took a few hours but I didn't exactly do it the most effective way.

If sweating is tiresome, you have 2 options:

1.Put some real money, so you can buy basic gear(15-20 $ should suffice for a decent suit & gun) OR
2. You can get a "trainer"(not sure if that's what they're called) to make sweating automatic. As in, you leave it on, activate the program, and it sweats automatically for you.

I know but I lack any kinds of fun to invest in the game. If you mean a bot they aren't allowed (as in if they find you you will'be banned). However, I noticed there's an auto-use tool for it so I can do it while AFKing or doing something else. Still, it will take days or even weeks before I can even do anything else. This game's inter-value between doing stuff is really low, at least in the beginning.

I forgot to mention, if you can run multiple clients and you have a strong computer or multiple computers you could make multiple accounts and then sweat will all of them. This should help with the beginning a lot. :)

It's hard in the beginning, but it gets easier as you go. You sure you don't know anybody who plays the game? He could loan you 200 PED or so, so you can buy some good gear and start hunting.
