...would the news people not warn someone

That so needs a banana slip sound effect .
I just liked the fact that none of the bastards filming thought to say anything to the guy.

Knowing how news business works, they just paid a guy five dollars to walk and slip. Remember, a lot of your news is staged.

Well, he actually smacks his head into the pavement... Hard. If he did that on purpose, I sure hope they paid him more than five bucks.
It does remind me of something I saw during a winter many years ago though. A guy had slipped and fallen on an icy parking lot. An ambulance came to pick him up. Two paramedics put him on a stretcher and put a neck brace on him. As they were carrying him to the ambulance, one of them slipped, and the injured guy fell from the stretcher back onto the ground from a height of about a meter. I think I winced and laughed at the same time :-/

Hehe the accents are not unlike Sean Bean in Patriot Games

They were probably laughing very hard.
wishbone: That is ironically funny which tends to be something you see in comedy. Though I would still be concerned for the persons life though. So don't worry, your not evil .... I think. =)
ps: quoting system is wonky with three or more quotes

Why did I instantly think of when Homer was taken in by the paramedics and he falls down the Springfield Gorge again?

Hard to believe that happened over 20 years ago. Makes me want to rewatch all the seasons on DVD again.
Well slipping on ice is dangerous...
Up in Scotland a 50 yr old guy (a fireman) died a couple of days ago after slipping and falling due to ice and hitting his head on the ground....
