Did the Italian players cry after the match?

That is pretty cool. I didn't even know about the game. Soccer is one of the few sports I can stand to watch. I also missed the game a couple years back when USA ended Spain's winning streak. I gasped in shock when I first saw that and I'm not one who normally gasps in shock at headlines. Definitely sad news. I loved watching their show as a kid (reruns, though, not the original airing).

The USA actually invested in Football?

Soccer/football just doesn't get much press here in the U.S., but I love it. It's much more interesting than watching a bunch of over-protected hulks run back and forth on a field and bash into each other.

Not surprised. Looks like Italy put out their 'B' side to see how fringe players would do (none of their 4 first choice forwards were available for the friendly).

Still, your B side should have put them to the sword so to say :P.

I have a retainer contract in place with a customer who is paying a flat rate for all of my services in March, so yesterday they were sending me countless amounts of work worth hundreds of euros before the phone call came yesterday that they had completely forgotten that it was a leap year and begging me to include it in the contract services.

Calendars for the win, eh? Still, I ended up being a soppy bastard and caving in.

For couple of years the Italy national squad kinda suck... after Marcello Lippi ;) They use too much awful players.

You just can't use Maggio as RWB(more attack miinded and in his club team he plays as midfielder mostly) ... and put Barzagli as CD(he's awful) & new-comer Ogbonna....
