Many sites have stopped bending over backwards to accommodate IE6's quirks, and I wouldn't be surprised if GOG was among these sites. Upgrade to at least IE7, or switch to any other up-to-date browser, and I can almost guarantee the site will work for you.
Ditto, using a 9-year-old web browser that wasn't following the standards back then, much less now, isn't going to solve any headaches. If the sites you want to use are so backwards that they're developed to solely function in MSWIE, then at least update to 7 already, preferably 8.
That is, unless you run something earlier than Windows XP SP2 (if you run XP without any service pack, or with SP1 - run
windows update and get SP3 as soon as you read this), in which case I can only recommend you get another browser;
and [url=http://www.mozilla.com/]Firefox should work in Win2000, but support for that OS is fading which is why
, [url=http://www.apple.com/safari/]Safari, and recent versions of
Explorer doesn't support it.
