That's 2 games plus an add-on that takes you on tropical islands for less then you'd pay for a sunblock.

Don't know what the game is about? Tropico Reloaded is a real-time managerial strategy that puts you in a role of El Presidente of a banana republic or a Pirate King, depending which part of the series you play. Although you're on tropical islands it's not just sipping drinks with umbrellas and smoking cigars - there is actual work to be done. You have to govern well to become the beloved ruler of your people or you can crush them under your dictatorial inclinations - we leave it up to you.

The game is only $3.99 until Thursday, February 17 at 10 a.m. EDT. You can expect another "24 hour promo" like this next Wednesday.

King's Bounty last week and Tropico this week combined didn't cost me as much as a regularly priced $9.99 game. I feel pretty lucky to have taken advantage of both promos. Thanks, GOG!

This is not true. Neither D2D nor GG have a generic DRM on all their games. If you go to their respective product pages for Tropico Reloaded, you will see that both explicitly declare the game as being delivered DRM-free.

For me, though, the prices show up as €6.99 at GG and £6.95 at D2D, so they are more expensive than this offer by GOG.

Roberttitus: Well to be absolutely fair, it is $2.50 on Direct2Drive & $6.99 on Gamersgate everyday. If anything, they should do a perma price drop to $5.99

I can't possibly begin to tell you how wrong you are. GoG is guaranteed DRM-Free but that doesn't mean that they are the only place on the internet that sells DRM-Free games. D2D & Gamersgate both sell DRM-Free games & this game in particular is one of them.

I like that you guys are doing these "flash deals" but I can't say I've been impressed by the selection you have been offering for them. Maybe some GOG exclusives would be nice. The games you have put up are often on sale for similar or less prices on other sites. That, and I already own both.
