hey fellow gog'ers,

once again i am looking for something that i just can't remember so i turn to you, because after a lot of googling and imdb'ing, i still haven't found it.

This time: an action thriller. Very cheesy and very bad probably but i loved it a kid and i have no idea what it is. I think it's from the 80's and i think you can classify it as a revenge movie.

This is what i remember: it's a story that got it's inspiration out of 10 little indians by agatha christie. A bunch of people get lured to an island (with jungle) and one by one the get killed by traps. The traps have something related with the murderer and the victims have all hurt him in a way that is reflected with the trap. I even think there is some vietnam war flashback but i'm not sure.

Anybody has any idea?

oh man if this is the one i feel really stupid. I dismissed the ones with this title because i thought the idea was a bit copied but not actually based on the book...

I'll go check now

Lol, apparently there was a TV series based on the nursery rhyme too, and the synopsis sounds pretty close to what you were describing:

it was a movie but not Ten little indians. It was also more modern (not a movie that plays 50 years before). I remeber it very cheesy with a bit of gore.
i am tempted to say "The Burning" 1981

Mind Hunters (2004)

If it's not necessarily English, then it could be this:

No it's not The Burning. Interesting though because this one looks a lot like friday the 13th

Some extra info: i think the murderer left clues and clue by clue they figured out who he was.

No and no. I did like mind hunters though. I'm pretty sure the movie was from the eighties or late 70's and english / american.

No.

Some more info: the more i try to remember the vaguer and uncertain about the facts i get but here are some more memories: most of the movie was in the jungle. It was like the murderer put up some survival course with traps and sets,...
There's also the 1965 version, which unfortunately wasn't actually on an island! And somebody gets killed in a sabotaged ski lift ...
