Keep in mind that this is the 4DLC version. A couple of days ago this version was updated to 1.07.
Like the 1.06, the 1.07 contains a game breaking bug. The game plays the ending credits after the 1st mission is finished. You need the Japanese Incentive DLC as it fixes the bug.

As for a short review:
It's a fun game, both in city quarter modus and in combat.
A whole bunch of characters to choose from. Characters fall in a type (burglar, mastermind, etc.). Character setup for your boss character. A growing number of perks to chose from when leveling.
Various weapons. Various maps which aren't randomly generated, though the position of enemies partly is.
City view is really nice, see your mobsters running or driving around while doing there jobs. Nice to see them do drive by shootings.
Storyline fits the game, music is great.
A lot of the low ratings are based on the game breaking bug in 1.06 and the fact this was 1 of the 1st or the 1st game to come with DLC on GOG. I rated it 4 stars.
Not worth the money on full price, pick it up in a sale or giveway. IMO with all DLC included it's worth $15-20 max. depending on wether or not you like these type of games.

Cheers for the GA +1 :) I also missed it (was the only one I missed) but to be honest I have a massive backlog (giggeddy) so someone else would have more immediate enjoyment from it so not in but nice one.

u know there was a missed the freebie? thread during the summer sale where there were many people who wanted such items u could have given them away to, instead of making a whole new topic weeks later -.- aside from that blunder it is still a nice giveaway (I not in).

I don't see any harm in creating a whole new topic as maybe Corwim didn't see the thread at the time or just didn't want to make a choice of who to give the games to out of all the people that wanted it. Now creating a giveaway allows him to let random.org decide like he mentioned in the OP so I wouldn't call this a blunder as that comes off as condescending.

On topic thanks for another opportunity Corwim for folks that missed these games +1 to you, but not in. :)

Hi HertogJan! Ah, that's too bad that the update still hasn't fixed that game breaking bug. :-/ I picked up the game a few months ago during a sale and was waiting to really get into it until they fixed that. So the only way to be able to finish the game is to get the Japanese Incentive DLC? Well, that blows just a little bit. I'll keep an eye out for a sale on that one then. Thanks for pointing that out! +1 for you. And thanks for your review, what little I did play of the game was real fun! Fingers crossed they'll eventually get round to fix the game breaking bug in this version of the game as well.
