There is a delay time in notifications. Omerta was free for a flash rotation early morning today.
Also you had to get it from the Homepage, not its store page.
Ah I see. Thank you for the info.
>.> One of the reasons I dislike flash rotation things like that (somethign GoG has been doing quite a bit with their 'special event' things) is that I always end up being at work or away from the computer when they happen. Would have loved to get Omerta, can't budget it any time soon. Oh well, I will survive.

Just wish GoG would re think how they do these sorts of things. Offering a game free for a limited 24 hour period is fine, gives everyone a chance to get it if they so desire; short time limited things though kind of 'alienate' people who may not be able to be sitting in front of their computer 24/7.

(Not bitter, just don't care for that type of 'promotion' and dislike that GoG does it so often. <.< maybe a little bitter I couldn't add to my game library when funds are so low :p)
meh they gave away 1 game for 24 hours, these ones are to get you to glue your screen to GOG for a day...that is their purpose, keep you away from steam sale... marketing...it's a thing.
I'm a bit sad I missed it by an hour. The game has been on my radar since it launched, but I don't think it's worth the default asking price.

Oh well, can't get everything for free :)

Me too, but I am remarking the number of people complaining about flash freebies...
FYI:
The Omerta from the giveaway was the 4 DLC version, not the Gold version. The 4 DLC version has a game breaking bug. You can't finish the campaign. Kalypso has a fix for it since December last year. They have updated the Steam version, not the GOG.com version.
The Japanese Incentive DLC for this version works fine. That campaign can be finished. The JI DLC is part of the flash sales.

There's a thread for people who missed the freebies. You can try your luck there.
I grabbed 1 free copy of Omerta, but already sent it to someone.
Huh, thanks for that FYI. I'm still hoping for a copy of Omerta but now don't find myself as interested.
Don't feel too bad you didn't get it on time, the GOG build is broken (one mission has a game-breaking bug) and the devs don't care about giving us a patch even though Steam users have had it since late 2013.

edit: duh, I see HertogJan already mentioned this.
