Seeing anniversary editions of movies I saw in theatres is pretty bad. Seeing Toy Story 10th anniversary was pretty rough, and my dad mentioned feeling the same way when he saw that they were releasing a Hellraiser 20th anniversary edition.
In, and I'm feeling old right along with you!

I'm also going to follow your example at the stores!

+1

Huh ? Why don't you want to change my diapers ??? I thought you really loved me :((
Finding out that the new lad at my mates bar is actually the kid of someone I was in the same class as in school.

That really messed me up - granted they were a parent within half a year of leaving school (thats at age 16 here), but still, a bit mental to digest as I'm 34 and didnt expect that kind of thing for another couple of years.

Also - not in.

DireRabbit: A coworker was complaining about how stores and seemingly everywhere else wants phone numbers and/or emails for reasons unknown (spam). I told her I tell them my number is 867-5309.

She gave me a confused look and said "Why? Is that your number?"
Jenny Jenny, who can I turn to? ;)

Not in, though; I already have it. +1 and a protip: If you want to feel young and old at the same time, teach preschool.
When I can't use the EZ tax form anymore. :(

Not in.

Tonight at the bar I was in, the barmaid did not know who The Doors are.

Aveweto: you already had telephones back then? :P
Well when I was really little we had to use strings and cans but technology moves soooo quickly ;-p
Looking in the mirror and seeing the grey that started to appear in my beard. People looking at me weird when i grab my mobile phone ( an old Samsung model with the most basic features, as i loathe the smartphones - they are breaking too easy and the battery drain.... - i'll stick to my old mobile ). People asking for the names of some well known bands in my younger days.

In and thanks for the generosity
Not in but loved the story, +1. :)

lugum: when they start calling you sir in the stores.

not in though.
Not in either, but yeah, this. I try to throw it back at them with a sir as well, though. :D
+1 for the giveaway!
Not in (becuase I have the game) but thank you DireRabbit.

I had to do a little research because "my number is 867-5309" is not something we know where I come from.
It's this song, right?. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dg_YueZ4fi8

I also loved the stories of lugum, Aveweto, irondog and Sachys.
Here is mine: After school, I was working at a summer camp and I was in charge of a group of nine-year-olds.
One of them asks "Sir, can I go outside?". He had to say it 3 times before I realised he was talking to me......
And that was 20 years ago......
