My money is on Obi-wan to be played by David Hasslehoff.
Old news there have been at least two other threads about Disney buying Lucas films and making a new Star Wars.

Honestly I can live with Sequels even if their crap as long as Disney keeps the originals out of Lucas's hands so he can't mess with them anymore as well as gives us the unaltered originals on blu ray while pretending Lucas's special editions never happened..

It's new news to me, but I honestly didn't see the threads. No problem, lets let the thread die.
I find everyone's lack of faith disturbing.

Honestly, I don't think there is too much to lose there. Maybe they will finally make that Shadows of the Empire film (even an animation, pls).

Episode 7 sounds bad though. Unless it is the beginning of the Thrawn trilogy.

EDIT: AGH, I will move myself to one of the other threads then.

Aside from the admittedly stupid Greedo Shoots First edit, I've never seen why people hate the special editions... Aside from the aforementioned, all the changes are things that either bettered the series (such as CGIing Jabba into episode IV or showing the celebrations) or is simply entirely neutral.

Okay, actually, editing in Episode III Anakin into the scene at the end of Return of the Jedi was rather questionable as well...
Disney hasn't ruined Marvel yet, so if they don't let George Lucas touch these movies with a ten foot pole, they might be decent.

Did you just ninja yourself in your own post?
I never was a fan of Star Wars (Might get lynched by this statement), but as long as there isn't mickey's cast in the movie.. why not ?

You know, a (non-3D) animation might actually work for Star Wars.
As Ric has subtely pointed out. There is another thread already, no more posts here. Post things here:

I thought of the Anakin idea just as my mouse was hovering over the "Post my message" button. So sort of.

Let's not forget adding in the "Noooooo" before Vader turns on the emperor in the blu ray of Return of the Jedi among other pointless changes..

I wasn't aware of that one, but I'd add that to the list of things that seem rather neutral.
