Okay all, I have a couple of keys for the brand new Containment DLC on Steam. You will need the base game to use these keys.

I want to do a giveaway for two keys. Preference will be given to those who've completed the game (I guess it'll have to be the honor system) and those that want to play it NOW (i.e. this weekend).

To enter, do the following:
- Provide your general strategy for starting on a unfamiliar map.
- Tell me your favorite tower type (most fun to use).
- Tell me your favorite thing that Fletcher says.

I'll hand out the keys tonight.

BONUS GIVEAWAY for those without DG: I believe I have one or more valid Steam keys for DG and some of the previous DLCs. If you want one of these say so and indicate your favorite Tower Defense game.

I suppose you don't have the DLCs alone, have it? (You Monster, primarily... ;p)

I may have a spare key for just You Monster, but I don't think so, I'll check for it. Is that the only key in which you're interested?

True, I can check that probably, but it's also been released in at least one DRM Free indie bundle, I don't want to penalize anyone for playing their DRM free copy instead of their Steam one:)

Well, I have only the base game, none of its DLCs. But for the new DLC you want someone that finished the game (or played a lot of it), not my case...

I would be very satisfied with You Monster, or a map... ;p

- Provide your general strategy for starting on a unfamiliar map.
Build guns to block of any lanes that needs to be blocked, and also on places where they have a good range, then build Cannons where appropriate, possibly a temporal tower at some obvious spot. Also, if I can place a command tower where it has good coverage early on I'll do it. Then I'll just build guns & cannons where I can find room for them, and possibly some meteors & AA towers, if the map has room for them.

I quite liked his general banter about raspberry, but I can't remember any specific line from the game. It was a while ago since I last played it.

Thanks for the giveaway. I´ve finished the original campaign with all challenges. All with gold medals. But I still have the You Monster campaign to play so dunno if you redeem me worthy :P

So, i´m only interested in the Containment DLC.

For the New Maps thing, first of all i check the map if there are any good spots for mazing and if so how i can make the mobs run the furthest. Afterwards i look for good spots for Cannon/Concussion/Inferno Towers which makes a huge difference if they are placed well or not. The rest basically is trial and error. Adjusting the build order to the different waves.

My favorite tower probably is the Laser. In my opinion the most powerfull early tower and still the best answer to fast moving enemies.

I'm interested in the base game since I've never played/tried it.

As for favorite tower game, right now it's Gemcraft, I don't know if you count flash games but then I'm not sure of how many games are tower defense for commercial purpose.

Yup, that's great for me, thanks for the chance. Lemme answer your questions;

1) If there isn't an obvious site to build in and I'm not blocking the path with disposable towers (I hate to do that), I construct a killzone about 25% of the way into the map, always centred around a temporal if resources allow. This gives me room to slot extra towers before and after the killzone if I need to. I follow this with a second killzone 75% of the way through. If you imagine this as a figure eight, I place my meteors or missiles in the space left at either side of the centre.

2) Simply a level 3 gun! Not least because it usually negates the need for missiles, the dullest thing in DG

3) To be honest I can't remember any of his lines verbatim, and I'd have to google some up to answer this, which seems kind of fake so I'll write N/A here :P

My favorite tower defense game right now would have to be Orcs Must Die! Good graphics and gameplay all around.
