Fantasysci5: I'm new to GTA, never played any, and I always hear about GTA IV, so I thought it was a classic. My mistake-I hope it goes on sale, too.
Personally, I enjoyed GTA IV a lot. Some people didn't like its more serious approach to storytelling compared to the previous generation of GTA games, which were pretty over the top in that respect. Still, I found there were many hilarious moments in GTA IV. Others didn't care for the "social" aspects of the game where you have to take your in-game friends on a date, go bowling etc. to keep them entertained. It's a definitely a different kind of game compared to San Andreas, but to me, that's not a bad thing.
Think I'll pick up the rest of the Magicka DLC. Nothing else today interests me (Gonna hold out on the Eschalon games).
Oh my God, Darksiders AND Fable 3...I want SO BAD, but I don't want to spend all the money!!

I hear ya...Trust me, I hear ya.
Just to note all half-life related games are on sale up to 75% off, not just episode 2. $9.99 for all half-life titles.

Picked up Half-Life 2 for $2.49
Anybody doing a Magicka 4 pack? If so, if you don't mind waiting for next weekend for me to send you the money as a GOG game or maybe something on Steam, please include me. :)

jlg6184: Why not have a US guy help you out? By help you out, I mean paypal them the money, they gift you the game? It works for a handful of people (I know I have done this for other people on a few occasions).
Yeah, that's the best option. And i'm glad people are willing to help out. Though still makes me feel like a second class client. See, i don't like the idea of working around a store, to buy something. Actually, that's what made me come to GOG, beside the oldies that is. They treat everyone the same. But, you know, i may just be a crazed lunatic.. ;D
Fable 3 can go screw itself, it uses STEAM, GFWL and Securom... Like seriously ARE YOU SURE THAT'S ENOUGH DRM?????

Way to treat paying customers like pirates, it's things like this that drive people to the latter.

Not to mention a lot of these Dailies are much cheaper in US as usual:

Battlefield 2 $5.00 = £5.00
Football Manager $9.99 = £9.99
Darksiders $4.99 = £4.99

Just dreadful.

I've decided against Darksiders and Half Life 2, and the only thing bothering me is Fable 3. I loved the 1st one so much, but I haven't played the 2nd one, since it hasn't come to PC, so I don't know if I should get the 3rd one or not. Loved the first one, but I heard this was immature.

What do you guys think? I value your opinions immensly.

EDIT: I think I'll pass, since it's more money than I want to pay, and I'm hearing the protection is so bad. :/

And the PC-version has nice bugs. I, for one, cannot play the game fullscreen, since if I do, it bluescreens on exit. Every time. And corrupts the saves.

In windowed mode it works fine though :)

The game itself is quite "meh". Way worse than the Lost Chapters...

Well worth getting. I've been playing for 38 hours or so and I'm still on my first play through.
Lolz

Spent £26 on Eschalon 1+2 , Hacker evolution series, and COD waw

All i need now is stalker and ill wait to grab dwarfs at the end of the sale
I'm interested in Super Meat Boy but it seems there is no demo available for it? Nowhere on the internet? Can't buy any of these newer games without checking tehm out first, so many of them don't work with my graphic card and other system setup ... :(

I love it; I've got all three Fable games, on all formats with all the DLC. It's not the most in-depth game you're ever going to play, but it's still a lot of fun.

No deal here - but for all reaaaally cheap ones interested in getting Steam summer camp tickets:
you can get the one for Jolly Rover (Bon Voyage) with the free demo on steam and this walkthrough. Just finish up to the "Get Rum" part and exit the room for it.
