I've been playing Spectromancer a lot in SP mode as well, it's quite fun for short breaks when I don't really have anything else to play. Besides, I'm a pretty stupid person so the AI is quite good at beating me.

It's also worth noting that there's a nifty hotseat mode. I've had some good times with that too, even though we don't bother looking away from the screen when it's the opponent's turn.

All in all it's a very enjoyable game IMO. Definitely worth buying now (or at full price for that matter, but now you get the expansions for cheap as well). I bought the Truth & Beauty expansion yesterday and loved the mad hermit class (though I had very little luck with it...)
Noticed that there is a Heroes pack for 5$ including Heroes of Might and Magic 5 complete and Dark Messiah, but it is unavailable in my country.

So is anyone willing to help out by gifting?
I'd repay by gifting a 6$ GOG since I don't have paypal to repay directly.

Has anyone helped you out yet? You can add me on Steam if they haven't and I'll gift you (same username on there).
Thank you again for your help.

Is the full spectromancer similar to the flash game? From the screen shots it looks very similar.

Yea that flash game is basically the demo of spectromancer. The full game you get alot of classes to choose between. The only difference between the classes is the last power and creatures in that last column. That does make a huge difference though to how you play each class. There is also a create your own hero thing, but I've not had a chance to have a look into that properly yet.
Anyone recommends Dwarfs?
anyone here played the Eschalon games? I have been thinking about buying them for a while but this is the first time I have seen them at a good sale price. if anyone could give some impressions about the character classes (mostly mage and ranger types) and info about how the main story and sidequests are done (is it standard stuff or more involved with interesting characters) I would appreciate it.

Have both, haven't found the time to play them very far. Basically they're as old school CRPGs as it gets and well worth to get full-prized. If you experienced / enjoyed the old Ultima games, there's no excuse no getting them discounted as they are right now.

For classes, take a look and [url=http://www.basiliskgames.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=2054]here. Can't really say much about quests but honestly, which game came up with innovative ideas in that department in the last 10 years?
For a rather funny and short read about the gameworld and possible reactions, take a look here.

Take a look at these videos, should give some insight if you are on the fence about it.

[nothing new post] I don't buy stuff on Steam. Proxy'ing makes me feel like a cheat, buying in Euros makes me feel like a sucker. I already feel guilty and hypocritical enough getting the free ones.

Cool sale though.
I'm new to GTA, never played any, and I always hear about GTA IV, so I thought it was a classic. My mistake-I hope it goes on sale, too.
