Nah, I just thought that I've been asking stuff from you guys quite much lately, so it would be rude not to give anything back :)

But thank you for the compliment :)

I too recommend Recettear even at $9.99 at not the $4.99 daily price it was at when I got it. However for me it was even better since gamersgate had it for $4.95 drm-free. Thanks steam for the recommendation!

Also, Oddbox is $5 at D2D drm-free.

How does Recettear stand in replayability? And I think I will pick Borderlands + Oddbox :)
I bought way to much as usual and before anyone chimes in to say it, no I will probably never play them all.

June 30th - Toki Tori, Gratuitous Space Battles: Galactic Conquest, Garshasp, Bit.Trip Beat, Test Drive Unlimited 2, Super Street Fighter IV: AE (On sale by mistake ^_^), Stubbs the Zombie.
July 1st - Oblivion GOTY, Elven Legacy, Majesty, Majesty 2, Star Wars: Kotor, The Force Unleased 2, Heroes of Might & Magic V complete.
July 2nd - Eschalon Book 1 & 2
July 3rd - Kane & Lynch, Tropico 3: Absolute Power, Fable III
July 4th - Trine, Alpha Protocol
July 5th - Stalker Clear Sky, Wings of the Luftwaffe, AI War complete
July 6th - Bit.Trip Runner, Guardians of Graxia.
July 7th - C&C 3, Kane's Wrath
July 8th - Tomb Raider: Anniversary, Tomb Raider: Legend, C&C4, Worms Reloaded, Mafia, The Last Remnant
July 9th - X3 Gold, Terraria, PAM, Sam & Max complete.
my final tally is Recettear, Stubbs, and the Deus Ex Collection

I don't know. I only played about three virtual demo days and haven't started playng the full game yet. Had to get Half-Life 2 out of the way first. The three days was enough for me to see a solid game. I also like anime so that helped too.

I suppose there are multiple ways to go about selling and dungeon crawling to pay off the loan so each experience can be unique theoretically. Dungeons are also randomly generated for some variety also.

I bought "Assassin's Creed 1", "Torchlight", and "Trine" when they were daily deals, and I'm going to buy Spectromancer Bundle, Uplink, and one GTA game. :)

I haven't played any, Detlik, I'm sorry.

You cannot go wrong with Borderlands or Oddbox. Good call.
I really must get around to playing some more BL...but then again, I have so many shiny new games calling me...

I have the worst backlog imaginable!
My Final Summer Sale Purchase List

Jul 3, 2011 Torchlight $2.99
Jul 4, 2011 Alpha Protocol $4.99
Jul 8, 2011 Paradox Fantasy Pack $7.99
Jul 10, 2011 2K Complete (NA) $79.99

Total: $95.96

Yeah, I was really keeping my costs down until today :P.

EDIT:
(in case non-Steam people care or something, I'll list the games in the two Packages I bought)

Paradox Fantasy Pack Included:
1) Elven Legacy +expansions
2) Majesty
3) Majesty 2 +expansions

2K Complete Included:
1) Axel & Pixel
2) BioShock
3) BioShock 2
4) Borderlands GOTY
5) CivCity: Rome
6) Civilization III Complete
7) Civilization IV +expansions
8) Civilization V
9) Duke Nukem Forever (I doubt this will ever see my hard drive, unless I am VERY drunk)
10) Freedom Force
11) Freedom Force Vs. the Third Reich
12) Mafia
13) Mafia II +DLC
14) Major League Baseball 2K10
15) MLB Front Office Manager
16) NBA 2K10
17) NBA 2K11
18) Railroad Tycoon II Platinum
19) Railroad Tycoon 3
20) Shattered Union
21) Sid Meier's Pirates!
22) Sid Meier's Railroads!
23) The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom
24) The Stronghold Collection
25) X-com Series

(Jeez that was more games in that 2K pack than I at first thought)

Since I had only two games (Pirates! and X-Com) from the 2K Package, I felt it was a fairly decent deal. However, I have no idea when I'll find the time to play all of the ones I want to play.

Detlik: I managed through mischievous schemes and through diabolical plans...okay I traded some of my TF2 promo items for money...HAPPY?!

But anyway I have 13,5 euro to spend - here is a list of games I am deciding between (please help me pick)

Borderlands: Game of the Year (I own Retail copy of Borderlands with all DLC, except Claptrap Revolution, since I probably lost the CD...cant find it anywhere... I am tempted to buy it on steam, so I will have digital copy)

Two Worlds II

Fallout: New Vegas DLC (Both of them)

Paradox Fantasy Pack

Sword of the Stars: Complete Collection

Gratuitous Space Battles - Complete Pack

All Magicka DLC (I own the base game, but no DLCs)

Battlefield 2 Pack (same as with Borderlands, I own base game retail, but with no DLC whatsoever and it would be nice to have steam copy)

Sanctum

Stubbs™ the Zombie in Rebel Without a Pulse™

eversion

Penny Arcade Adventures: Precipice of Darkness Combo Pack

Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale

Puzzle Agent 2

The Oddboxx

Jamestown

Solar 2

Eschalon 1+2

1701 A.D.: Gold Edition

Post Apocalyptic Mayhem

Detlik: Anyone?
I would get Two Worlds 2. Everything else is already low priced or older or bound to be on sale for low price sooner than later.

Druidshinobi: Anyone suggest magika if i'm only going to play it singleplayer?

Or is it one of those games where i miss out on a lot of it by playing that way?
mehhhh. i don't think you miss out on a lot as far as spellcasting, but just running around and blowing everything up with a buddy is sort of the point (for me, at least).

I don't suggest it for single player. It's just too damn hard and frustrating. Basically, when you play with a buddy and you die mid battle, your buddy can revive you and you keep on fighting. You can also do combos (one freezes opponent, the other blasts them). When you play single player, you can't do combos, everyone is after you and when you die, it's back to the last checkpoint. Also, you don't get much loot aside from your staff and a weapon, nor do you get experience from killing anyone, so the whole "building a stronger character" angle is pretty much nonexistant. The whole point of the game is to enjoy it with friends. I gifted a copy to a friend of mine and FINALLY I've made it past the boss on level 2.

My loot:

Magicka, as a gift for my friend.

Paradox fantasy Pack: Majesty + expansion, Majesty 2 + 3 expansions, Elven Legacy + 3 expansions.

Heroes Pack: Heroes of Might & Magic V + 2 expansions, Dark messiah of Might & Magic

Borderlands, Game of the year edition ( + all DLC)

Neverwinter Nights 2 Platinum (base game + 2 expansions)

Hitman pack (Codename 47, Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, Hitman Blood Money)

I can't seem to play Codename 47. No clue what's wrong, though I should have figured Steam is no good at making old games run, unlike GOG.

Grand total of $38.13 Less than the cost of a recently launched game.
Any must haves from the sales that have been going on since the beginning?
