KneeTheCap: After a huge brainstorming session, I found out that I could use your help to decide, so here goes...

What would you guys suggest I get from the last day of Steam sale?

One from these

Dawn of War 2 Retribution
Fallout New Vegas
Two Worlds 2
AlternativA
M.U.D. TV

OR

Two from these

Magicka
Battlefield Bad Company 2
Ghostbusters
Anno 1701 Gold
Monkey Island 2 Special Edition
Just Cause 2

Since I don't want to sound ungrateful or anything, here's a gift code for today's hidden gem (I'm cheap, I know. Deal with it)

TVC4-E2V3-4K57-FYTH
The thing is...the games are not of the same type. All of them are very good games too.

What I would do if I were you is this, think what type of game you would like to play, then see which one is closer to it.

If, however, you want to pick them now, I would choose Two Worlds 2 from the first, and BBC2+JC2 from the second.

Detlik: I managed through mischievous schemes and through diabolical plans...okay I traded some of my TF2 promo items for money...HAPPY?!

But anyway I have 13,5 euro to spend - here is a list of games I am deciding between (please help me pick)

Borderlands: Game of the Year (I own Retail copy of Borderlands with all DLC, except Claptrap Revolution, since I probably lost the CD...cant find it anywhere... I am tempted to buy it on steam, so I will have digital copy)

Two Worlds II

Fallout: New Vegas DLC (Both of them)

Paradox Fantasy Pack

Sword of the Stars: Complete Collection

Gratuitous Space Battles - Complete Pack

All Magicka DLC (I own the base game, but no DLCs)

Battlefield 2 Pack (same as with Borderlands, I own base game retail, but with no DLC whatsoever and it would be nice to have steam copy)

Sanctum

Stubbs™ the Zombie in Rebel Without a Pulse™

eversion

Penny Arcade Adventures: Precipice of Darkness Combo Pack

Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale

Puzzle Agent 2

The Oddboxx

Jamestown

Solar 2

Eschalon 1+2

1701 A.D.: Gold Edition

Post Apocalyptic Mayhem
Anyone?
Here's what I bought:

$20.97 - Fallout New Vegas + Dead Money + Honest Hearts
$03.24 - Beat Hazard
$07.49 - GTA Classics Pack
$06.99 - Kings Bounty Collection
$01.49 - AudioSurf
$06.79 - Neverwinter Nights 2 Platinum
$04.99 - Terraria (yes I bought it after they fixed the sale price and it was worth the money)
$04.99 - Spectromancer + League of Heroes + Truth & Beauty Bundle
$03.74 - Eschalon Book I
$04.99 - Eschalon Book II
======
$65.68

I ended up not buying the Meridian 4 pack. The game I was most looking forward to playing in the pack was Grotesque Tactics but it just has too many bugs and they first sticky in the forums talks about improvements for the sequel. I think that the devs have began to focus on making a sequel instead of fixing the game crashing bugs (ex. the wounded knight bug). It just goes to show that you should ALWAYS check the forums before buying a game.
My Haul is weak, and a bit pathetic, but what the hell:

Honest Hearts DLC [for Fallout: New Vegas]
Mount & Blade: With Fire and Sword

Also got Oblivion GOTY Deluxe and 3 GOG's (The Fallouts) in a trade, if that counts, lol.

Detlik:
did you still not buy the magicka dlc and oddboxx :O ......
My haul:
Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3 - $4.00
Atom Zombie Smasher - $2.99
King's Bounty: Collection - $6.99
S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat - $3.74
Alien Breed 2 - Free
The Heroes Pack - $4.99
Paradox Fantasy Pack - $7.99
Alpha Protocol - Gift
----
Total - $30.70

Gifted away a couple of games too, but $30 isn't bad. That stuff would have normally been about $180.

Nope...its so hard to decide :(
I just got BeatHazard today... Oh my goodness, it's a throwback to the shooters of the 80's and 90's, strobe effects and all.

The whole package is 6.49 USD and well worth it. I played about an hour of it and it felt like 10 minutes had gone by. I haven't had that happen to me since I first started playing mmos.

Detlik: Anyone?
I haven't played any of the games you listed so I'm going to suggest a game I wish I had bought during the daily deal: Reccettear.
Anyone here willing to gift me the Eschalon Book games and have me send them a $9.99 GOG or Steam game once my limit on my debit card resets? :)

You, Sir, are a true gentleman.
I'm not into strategy games at all. So it would be just unfair if I picked it up.
Thanks anyway.
Your kindness is much appreciated.
+1k

ps: hey you, strategy lovers, what are you waiting for?!?

Anyone suggest magika if i'm only going to play it singleplayer?

Or is it one of those games where i miss out on a lot of it by playing that way?
Is anyone here getting the "steam server is too busy" error while trying to download the games?

Fantasysci5: You're kiling me with indecision.
I recommend you don't go straight for the best, because then you may not enjoy the others as much should you play them. Instead, just play all of them, in order, at least from GTA III onwards.

Constantly. Just keep trying.
