Very different games. Which genre do you prefer?

Any genre will do, unless it's a flying simulator :)

I would take 'em both but that would blow my budget :D

I would say FO3 will give you more bang for your buck, as it's the GOTY with all the DLC.
Mafia 2 doesn't have many fans. I liked the demo, but haven't gotten around to playing the full game yet.

Kneethecap,

I have both games and I would recommend FO3 over Mafia 2. Way better game overall in FO3

Mafia 2 has well a great story, But it doesn't have much replay value and bang for your buck
so i say fallout 3 goty is the best option
Fallout 3 is now in my library, thanks guys :)

Brilliant, just brilliant!

I paid 22 bucks for it because I thought it was good deal but I was bit surprised that it's 10 bucks. However, it's very very very quality game so I'm fine that I paid 22 for it. I can imagine myself putting in serious hours into that game. :)

Enjoy that game, dude!

Sorry - totally forgot I hadn't replied! Will PM you to avoid derailing this thread further.
Well, I think the sale has finally ended for me. I'm going to be out of town tomorrow, so I won't be able to buy anything. But I'm actually kind of glad, because with the games I've bought, I'm not going to need anymore for quite a while.

And for those who care for some reason, this is what I've bought:

Singularity
King's Bounty: The Legend
Mass Effect
Mass Effect 2
Paradox Fantasy Pack (Elven Legacy Collection, Majesty Gold, and Majesty 2 Collection)

And that's it. I got through the sale spending less than 40 dollars. A lot of bang for my buck, I'd say.
On the plus side, it seems Valve lowered the price of The Last Remnant here to $12ish. On the negative side, they are hiding that sale, showing us Total War which is restricted and not displaying a price for Mafia 2.

Valve love (botching even sales for) Japan =)

Only thing I was interested in was Red Faction Armageddon, but naturally, being a Steamworks title it's still restricted in Japan. So guess I'll have to wait for an eventual GamersGate sale on that instead.
So I bought a TF2 Cooler Key today. Yes, I know. Well, I got a stupid pyro hat, again, but at least it's one of the new ones (a boot) made by Barlim, who's made several hats that have gone into the game. He's part of the clan servers I hang out in.

But yeah, another goddamn Pyro hat. I rarely play Pyro and I already have the only hat for him I like (the fire chief helmet)...

I also picked up Last Remnant.

Okay, I need help, a friend of mine from Australia wants me to buy some stuff for her so she gave me some money via PayPal. I tried buying something, "An unexpected error occurred." I added the funds to the Steam Wallet, and the same thing happened.

... Is something going on? Did Steam just lock me out for some reason? o_o

Edit: Found a workaround -- http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showpost.php?p=23460942&postcount=23

I just emailed my friend her game.

Argh that's so tempting, I still can't get past the fact someone told me it made his computer overheated due to the game though... I really don't want to buy the game if it destroys my computer.
