FiatLux: I bought "Recettear" also , but I think it gets too hard too soon unless one is a real entusiast and wants to spend all ones time on the wiki and forum to get tips and tricks, I think that this game seriousloy needs a difficulty settings option so one can play it more laid back and casual...

And b.t.w. then the "Steam sale 2011" have emptied my wallet .
You shouldn't worry about it. 'Failing' is kind of built in, it's not expected you manage to pass every payment the first time, and you *keep* all the stuff you got when you get the do-over for the payment if I'm not mistaken.

deadfolk: I'm pretty much the same - mainly solo. I like being in a casual guild, as you get to know the people and can help each other out, but there's no obligation.

I've not had time to play for a few weeks, and they've introduced free server moves since I was last on, so my guild might even have scattered to the four winds for all I know. I can recommend my server, though - Shadefallen. Really great community. It's an RP server, but people don't really RP much in my experience. There are just less dicks.

Not sure about the ability to join a guild on a trial a/c. To be honest, you're probably better playing without a guild for the first few days anyway. It encourages you to explore and get stuff yourself without being handheld.
Yeah, I can imagine that being the case, as it was on the RP server I played on years ago in WoW. I always get stuff on my own as well anyways and explore. I was more just wanting people to talk to, rather than have people help me out. I'll see if I can transfer one of my characters, Darrias, to the server. I'm from the guardian faction though. In any case, it isn't much trouble re-rolling as he's only level 3 or 4 atm, if you do fancy grouping, chatting or whatever should we be on at the same time.

Got the CD key now as well, so I'll just wait until the trial ends before entering the key.

Again, thanks for the info.

Edit: Odd, can't see the server mentioned in either the transfer queue or the normal one. Certainly not under the english language ones anyway. You're not on the US servers I assume, with being from Ireland?

Is anyone else unable to view the Mass Effect sale? Every time I click on it it just sends me back to Steam's home screen.

Damn. Worms reloaded is at 75% off... and I bought it just a few weeks ago when it was at 50% off *sighs*. Oh well!
Is anybody going to try for the Summer of 69 achievement (and wouldn't mind if I join ;)) ?

Same feeling here, I got Amnesia a couple of months ago for 7.50 and now it's 3.50, ffs.

Yep, same here. I tried searching for Mass Effect and get no results. But EA pulled their games (or some of them) from Steam didn't they? Would this be the issue?

You should see the Japanese price. It's a little hard to though, as they won't even show it on the main page with the other daily deals. U_U Then again $17 (at 75% off) is hardly a deal.

By the way, the 12 main attractions today are great games with neat prices (with the exception of Divinity II, which I will NOT dare think of buying for more than 10 euros, as I was stupid enough to buy the first edition a couple of weeks BEFORE this new expansion & edition was released).

lol, Thats not the issue, it's just the traffic and as for ea pulling games, they didn't pull crysis 2 if thats what your talking about valve kinda pulled them out.

They only pulled one game due to a conflict.

Stuff like Sims 3 complete on sale for 68% should make it obvious they're not leaving yet. They also added Alice since that.

Aye, it was just a thought. As you [probably surmised, I didn't pay a whole lot of attention to the issue. Even though the site's being hammered, it's odd that a search would produce a 'no results found' message, IMO. Anyway, so big deal.
