taczillabr: Does anyone here recommends Sol Survivor, Mr Robot and Project Aftermath?
Only have Mr. Robot and haven't played much. However, all 3 have free demos on Steam - checking out yourself >>> any recommendation.
I'm a little confused by today's sale about Serious Sam: does anybody know what is the difference between the "Gold Edition" and the "Double Pack"? Both contain the two HD remakes of these games, but I can't find what's so different with the "Gold edition"...

Gold includes the older, non HD Serious Sam games. The ones you can buy here at GOG and a zillion other places.

And If you already own the HD games and purchase the Gold pack, you can gift the extra HD games to someone.

Thanks for the info! I already have the old ones, I was looking for the Hd ones, so the "Double pack" is better for me (and less expensive!) ^_^
I'm really considering getting Singularity. It looks really fun. Does anyone know if it is somewhat similar to the new Wolfenstein? It doesn't really matter either way, but for some reason the screenshots remind me of Wolfenstein.

Also, is the Paradox Fantasy Pack going to be discounted throughout the whole Summer sale?

Propably made by same developer. Raven I think.

1: They should... Wolfenstein and Singularity had the same dev: Raven Software.

2: Apparently so, that pack's been on sale at that price since the start!
Sol Survivor: Straightforward tower defense, good mix of enemies, unusual emphasis on using targeted abilities to support towers. You're forced to pick between sets of towers and abilities rather than using all at once. Underwhelming presentation. Decent TD game, not my favorite but not bad.

How fun is Alpha Protocol? Do people like it more because it's fun to play, or because the different outcomes are interesting to experiment with?
Thank you, guys. I didn't notice they were by the same developer. I'll most definitely pick up SIngularity then.

As for the Fantasy Pack... I don't know. I enjoyed the demo for Elven Legacy, and the Majesty games look interesting, but... Ah, I'll just wait and see.

Thanks, Siannah. Yep I probably should try them before the sale's end, yet I instabuy anything that is $2.50 or below if it interests me, we'll see. :)

Didn't you guys think of the alternative, GG?

In a next sale they can discount these two bundles, guess they're DRM-free:
Majesty 2 Collection
Elven Legacy Collection

Well that's if you accept paying like $5 for each for DRM-free, and waiting. Your choice.

Thank you. I like unusual games. Somehow I like it being more restrictive of what you can use or what you can not.

Can't help you with Alpha Protocol, since I also have yet to play it, although it's restricted here.

It's great, your shooting and stuff like dmg are based on your character stats instead of your aiming, which is a big turn off for quite some people who are expecting Modern Warfare and thus bringing down the user review scores (screw them).
It has quite an interesting plot, though the game is short for me, but should be more than worth it for the Steam sale price, not sure how much it is I can't see it on Steam. There are lots of choices and paths for you to choose to take in the game.
Not sure if they fixed the bugs too, as there are some glaring bugs and glitches on release but that was during release.

Anyone from the outside Germany, can gift me Fallout: New Vegas with all DLC?

We can arrange money by PayPal or Games on GOG or Steam at same price.

Unfortunately, This Game is badly censored in Germany again :(

Bear in mind that they released a patch to remove the DRM from the retail version, so if you find a disc copy cheap, you get it totally DRM-free. Depends how important that is to you. I guess for a fiver on steam, you can't really go wrong.
Anyone from USA or UK can help me get the DLC for Fallout New Vegas? (Honest Hearts, Dead Money). I send money by paypal.
