They laughed when I wanted them to, they were impressed that I spotted a flaw as soon as I looked at their comms cabinet (a single layer 2 switch for the whole facility?? Its called redundancy people!), they liked the fact I was willing to be there for the long haul rather than get trained then move somewhere else and the wildcard of my mum & sister having been patients might be the thing that tips the scales in my favour.

I do IT in health care too. It definitely takes a certain mindset. Having good people around you helps a lot too. If you get the job, it sounds like you'll be lightening somebody else's day since you sound like a good person to work with! Good luck with the job hunt!

The question is why isn't your ass in ROTC?! I am in it and it is fucking awesome (We are the best in the state...That, and since this is a pretty trashy school we get a lot of awards in the MARKSMANSHIP category.)! First football game to run on Friday and am already plotting how to get gf to go...I'm a sick person...=)

Today was a good day! First the GOG anniversary news and then my PS3 and new pirate hat both arrived in the mail when I got home.
I'm going to celebrate with a plate of nachos because I'm sick of cake now.
