I'm feeling better now since I am losing my influenza symptoms.
Nothing good has happened to me recently, but I remain convinced that things will get better right before they get even worse. As a result I have much to be thankful for.
All hail the comforting sting of the status quo!
My wife and I just got a new dog. She's a border collie-husky mix about 2 years old. It has provided our 11-year-old border collie with an interest in life beyond chewing all the fur off of his paws. We got her from a rescue organization. She was neglected before being rescued, so It will take her a bit of time to warm up to us; but it's already going well.

For some reason, we have received 3 lesbian dogs in the course of 2 years from friends and family...Funny really.
Bumping for e-drama and 2010.
Well I fixed my laptop, only breaking the needless power LEDs and needless wifi so I can now play all those games I've been buying on special
I have a shitload of work for school due on Monday (It's Sunday for me.), but I will talk my way around it. I'm good that way. Also, finally home. No more cat urine smell! WOOT!
Oh, and hope everyone has a great new year.
I recently ripped myself off by buying Windows 7 from a sketchy website, but then (surprisingly) managed to get my money back. With it I will be buying the OS from a trustworthy retailer, and also purchasing many games from the upcoming GOG monster deal. :)
Also by way of chance my Internet was upgraded from sharing a 3mbps wifi connection with 7 or so people to a 25mbps wired connection shared with one person. So I can actually you know, use the the Internet now and stuff.
Today, after trying to install Freespace 2 for about the 25th time, it finally worked and is runnable. Yay!
I bought the game in September and was having huge problems with installing it
I will not be spending my day today moving and reboxing artifacts. :)
Got to work yesterday, there was ice all over the parking lot. Lo and behold, the sprinkler system had gone off in the middle of the night in the empty office space next to our downstairs lab, flooding all the ground-floor offices. At least the lab ceiling didn't cave in, and the pet groomer didn't have any dogs staying overnight. We had to move all the dry boxes that were on top of the wet boxes out to another location, then unpack wet boxes, dry off the plastic bags of artifacts, repack into new boxes, move them...
Thank goodness we don't really have any human remains at the moment.

Rohan15: Just fruity now...I'm gonna go check out Poxnora...

I used to play a lot of pox, taking a break atm, burned out on it. Not sure how I feel about the big changes to upgrade/stats
I just got the news yesterday that my sister's cancer is in complete remission. So darn right I'm feeling pretty good.
Now if I can only meet my selfish demands for a new computer my happiness will be complete.

Good for her! =)
My Visa card was being weird and I saw a trend in which my balance would rise and fall. So, after checking with Greendot support (Oh, I love them so), it turns out STEAM THE ANTICHRIST had payments for games I owned and downloaded still processing. Fixed that, and I can now go back to my normal state of mind.

Today is much better. Yesterday I was raging. Today I made up. It is good to not hate your friend's guts.
Well 2009 couldn't have been much worse so come on 2010, lets see what you have for me.
