YES YES to most of the above... like to add:
No One Lives Forever 1&2..
some of the funniest Austin Powers stuff EVAR.. and it would be nice to see it ported to 64bit so I can finally give away my old DosBox/Win2000 rig.
Some other good ones:
LucasArts Full Throttle,
Westwood Lands of Lore,
Virgin 7th Guest and 11th hour,
SSI Eye of the Beholder 1, 2, and 3,
Westwood Legen of Kyrandia,
Kyrandia II Hand of Fate,
Maniac Mansion,
Sierra Quest for Glory (all of them!),
and maybe the first couple JefFighters
I have $$ and would buy them ALL (fer realzies)
My #1 pick would be "Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura"
Civilization II : Multiplayer Gold Edition (Includes original expansions and multiplayer)
Northland
Dungeon Siege + Expansion
Warlords BattleCry I and II
Then.. Even though I seem to be the only one that likes it, "Land of the Dead: Road to Fiddler's Green" (I still think this is a great zombie FPS. It's not very damanding and even more fun when you learn how to use the map editor to increase difficulty and zombie count to insane amounts, not to mention your own maps)
Blood from Monolith
--Cryptic Passage (Expansion)
--Plasma Pack (Expansion)
Blood 2 from Monolith
--Nightmare levels (Expansion)

Both are fun, addictive and are in the same Vein as other games you carry now. They were at there time innovative and a blast to play. VooDoo Dolls and Tesla Cannons anyone? These are paramount to have in the GOG collection. You know there good so i don't need to go in depth. But I would buy them all without question in a heart beat.
Shadow Warrior from 3D Realms
Quite possibly the one and only contender to knock Duke around on his Throne of FPS Grandeur. Not enough about Lo Wang is out there, This game defined comic FPS games.
Thief - The Dark Project
Thief II - The Metal Age
Thief - Deadly Shadows

These are the greatest games Ive played in the stealth Genre. Looking Glass Studios was what i looked for on a game. there name signified quality and entertainment. Ion Storm (T:DS respectively) Had players from LGS and when that company died they were responsible for titles like: Deus Ex, Guitar Hero, Rock Band, Half-Life 2, Freedom Force, TES IV: Oblivion, Fallout 3, Bioshock, Empire Earth II... a great company and talented employees indeed!
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines
This is by far one of the greatest game Ive ever played. The game itself isn't whats so great. but the story and the branching possibility that may or may-not happen while playing it is. You can easily play it over and over and will be a completely different experience every time. Its world is grity like Kingpins world was but graphically superior. It also has sold RPG elements. Plus with the fan patches this has become a bugfree very optimized/crashless game, no show stoppers here.
Its from Troika they also made The Temple of Elemental Evil and Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura which I would love to see aswell... but Bloodlines first! :)
Deus Ex
Project Snowblind
Deus Ex: Invisible War
Anachronox

These games are living legends, well 2 are, the rest are fun... Deus Ex and Anachronox are quite possibly the greatest of the greats with story telling and building mood and atmosphere. Yes Anachronox never really finished, it needs 2 more games but unfortuantly Ion Storm is no more and the fan movie machinima is all we have to fill in the blanks http://www.archive.org/details/JakeHughesAnachronoxTheMovie Watch it, fall in love and ADD THIS GAME! oh and Snowblind and Invisible War are amazing, when Deus Ex 3 drops watch your sales sore... great games, awesome story... shootemup fun to be had with both titles!
Psychotoxic
You Are Empty

Oh hell yes i said it, Get some Crazy mind bending crazy in here! I dont know if you can ever find these games. let alone release them. Unknown and un popular to the hilt. But they are both completly unique in there form and function. Psychotoxic is from the wondrous devs at NuClear vision they also made the free to d/l Gordon Freeman Side Scroller arcade game from Steam. You play as a fem-fatal that gets sucked into some parallel universe which is creepily like PREY but with german humor and you just kill everything, like giant cows with machine gun utters as an example. and You are Empty is a crazy Painkiller meets Wolfenstien on acid style gameplay with this end of the world invaded by demons feel that you just cant match today.
Planescape: Torment
I really dont need to say anything. If you played it GOG you know words cannot describe the grandness of Planescape. Horney Floating skull that talks.... that about sums it up for me... or and constant side splitting laughter...
Sanitarium
Best adventure game i ever played in my entire life as a gamer hands down NO EXCEPTIONS. This changed me as a gamer, the fluid levels the depth of character. Ive yet to see any game come close the the absolute blinding greatness that is Sanitarium. I have a copy i hold dear to my heart. I fully love this game, i have an emotional attachment to this title. I simply cannot stress the importance that anyone who calls themselves an adventure game player, must play this title if only to see the game for what it is and not what its supposed to be. If you need a copy in order to add this to your collection (as long as you promise to mail it back) I will lend you mine GOG. The areas you explore from a childs playground to a insect burrow, and even an rooftop laboratory; they all have different meanings in the grand scheme. Each place every item in the game world has a meaning of some kind. Its like playing a dream and your interpretations impact how you perceive it. The detail in which it was constructed begs to ask if the developers were in a perpetual nightmarish daze terrified to sleep yet scared of the vision when they were awake or were they just geniuses in disguise. This game will create images and memories that will stick with you, some haunting some so thought provoking you'll pause the game just to comprehend what just happened. It will steal you away form reality.
American McGee's: ALICE
This is a retelling of Alice in Wonderland, but this time your a deranged psychologically broken little girl that only knows how to deal with her problems with a sharp knife, some dice, a Devlish cats advice, and some other insidious toys of wonderland. The worlds that you'll see have yet to be matched by any other game. This experiences is unique for an over the shoulder game. Filled with a great cerebral yet very engaging story and a desire to see "Whats Next" for all that's played it, need i say more then Mad Hatters Asylum? *Boo hoo hoo Muhahaha ha ha ha* Along with Sanitarium this is a game that cannot be missed.
Rune
KISS: Psycho Circus - the nightmare child

More GODgames titles. Quite frankly RUNE is the closest thing to Viking Rage you'll ever get to see. I spent hours playing that game. Huge battle axes, awsome story, great atmospher. Its a game you must play/see to belive. I cannot tell you how satisfying it is to bash a Dark Warriors head in with a mallet thats bigger then you are.
And, oh yes KISS: Psycho Circus... This game taught me that you can have fun and rock out to hair metal at the same time. Its a dark fantasy based on the members of KISS or rather the dark Comic Book alter-egos where they have unique powers each tailored to them.. oh yeah and the game world for each member is themed for them and them alone. one arm a weapon the other a fist of Face pounding goodness. its basically 4 games in 1 with a funny and sort of way of bringing it together.
RedFaction
Much fun to be had blowing up the world, Geomod style. Its a fun romp of a game. great story and i felt it as a neat departure from the normal run and gun.
Omikron: The Nomad Soul
This game is wonderful. David Bowie did a stellar job and as adventure games go this is like Dreamfall in the sense it has so many locations worlds and a touch of fighting. But at its core its a CyberPunk thrill ride with a feeling of Blade Runner at times. Its a world run by a Supercomputer (BOWIE) and its your job to "awaken" and figure it all out. heh, its a reat diversion with decent story telling and more then enough to pull you in given half a chance.
Sinistar
Simply put its a space shooter where you have to kill everythign before little builder robots construct a gate. Its hard to explain. look here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8hEuHhaWwgg&feature=player_embedded#t=12 Looks awsome, solid gameplay... rungs great with a Keyboard and Mouse... ughh spent days playing this game in my youth. MAN that video brings back great memories... and it looks great on the PC, i mean it looks really good for a space shooter even in today's standards.
Dark Seed
Dark Seed 2

H.R. Giegers finest work. The games evoke terror and suspense like no other adventure gave ive played. There Silent Hill-ish with a touch of the twisted. So hard to find these games. Let alone get them to work in windows. The story is interesting, the gameplay challenging and a good mix to keep you entertained. Graphically beautiful, haunting world from the brainchild of Species and Aliens, and Dune. DS 1 is like "Have No Mouth and I must scream" in the sense that you must do things properly while playing or its unwinnable. DS2 alleviated that issue making it much more fun to play. Still they look wonderful and even when played with a walk through they retain there story and intrigue.
Mechwarrior 2:Mercenaries / Heavy Gear Series
Drakkan: The Order of Flame
ONI
Phantasmagoria
TES: Daggerfall -- oh please oh please oh please!!!!
Evil Genius

Just sending a nod to those titles posted earlier. Could be wonderful additions to GOG.
I have Dark Seed and Dark Seed 2 written but i realized they might not sell well. hard to play cult driven games which are more frustrating then fun. i liked them but other may not. Anyways my brains a little soft now but there's loads more i just need some time to think of them :)
P.S. The Godgames:
Heavy Metal: F.A.K.K.²
Hidden & Dangerous Deluxe
Hidden & Dangerous 2
KISS: Psycho Circus: The Nightmare Child
Mafia: The City of Lost Heaven
Max Payne
Nocturne
Oni
Rune
Serious Sam

all are amazing... i have to focus on Heavy Metal F.A.K.K. 2 and Serious Sam. these are fun games, very different but alike in the fact there fun. FAKK is an over the shoulder romp with a female hero trying to save her village from the ultimate destruct-or. Seen the heavy metal movies? yeah its based of them. and Serious Sam you just cant beat that. The game of games. Many a LAN party was spent playing Serious Sam and only that for hours, days sometimes.

Starkrun: <snip>

E-E-E-E-EPIC POST!
There is a game that's been skipped over so many times by reviewers, gamers, and even the loyal fans.
Aliens versus Predator: Gold edition
Made by Rebellion... it is a living legend in survival horror (as the marine) You have your motion tracker, a pulse rifle with WAY to fewrounds, barley any light at all... BTW the lights can be broken and your thrust into complete darkness... and you must kill all the aliens and the predator's hunting them. AVP is very hard to get running on today's hardware and would be a wonderful candidate for GOG, it would take a simple editing of one of the shaders from what i understand, which is easy but the mod community has sadly gone away and were left with a game that hates Nvidia graphics cards :(
Bah "you say" the marines are simple i could do that... NO wrong, you already have the inner mouth part of the queen alien sucking the delicious pink fruit inside your skull... the aliens have a certain vision which can detect you by your pheromones and you cannot hide no matter how hard you try. and if you pee your pants it gets brighter.... no really, google it! As the pred they can home in with thermal, night, and pred vision focusing there sight on one species and cycling though visions at will... what does the human get.... a flare no seriously you get flares... and they SUCK.. all the tech in the world and you get a headlamp which cant even light a room and a few flares that burn out right as your motion track shows 5 inbound moving at 25mph ON THE CEILING!
On to other things that are great...This games multiplayer is fantastic, there's a survival mode with wave after wave of aliens, hunter mode where you hunt the alien/pred and he who kills it becomes it... and so many others. Also when you beat the game and unlock certain achievements which are basic cheat elements there is a Rendering option see below and cry at the delicious ingeniousness that is Rebellion.
SUPERMUN: Alien gains long-distance jaw attack. To acquire the SUPERMUN, you must defeat the first Alien level, Temple, and score 10 live civilian head bites.
NAUSEA: The entire screen shakes and moves, causing, well, nausea. To acquire NAUSEA, you must defeat the second Alien level, Escape, in less than two minutes.
PIPECLEANER: All characters are shown as pipecleaners, or as their skeletons. To acquire PIPECLEANER, you must defeat the third Alien level, Ferarco, with 15 dead civilian head bites.
MOTIONBLUR: Makes the screen blurry. To acquire MOTIONBLUR, you must defeat the fourth Alien level, Gateway, in under four and a half minutes with an average speed of 9 m/s or greater.
MIRROR: Mirrors your display of the level. To acquire MIRROR, you must defeat the fifth Alien level, Earthbound, with one live Predator head bite.
JOHNWOOMODE: When you attack or are attacked, the game slows down. To acquire JOHNWOOMODE, you must defeat the first Marine level, Derelict, with 80 percent head shots.
GRENADE: Stocks your Pulse Rifle with 99 grenades (but no bullets). To acquire GRENADE, you must defeat the second Marine level, Colony, with 40 percent accuracy.
WARPSPEED: Run very fast. To acquire WARPSPEED, you must defeat the third Marine level, Invasion, in less than four minutes.
LANDOFTHEGIANTS: Makes you very small. To acquire LANDOFTHEGIANTS, you must defeat the fourth Marine level, Orbital, using less than 20 shots.
SLUGTRAIL: Causes all Aliens to crawl on the floor because they have no legs. To acquire SLUGTRAIL, you must defeat the fifth Marine level, Tyrargo, with 32 Alien kills.
PIGSTICKING: Gives the Predator's speargun unlimited ammo and extra shots. To acquire PIGSTICKING, you must defeat the first Predator level, Waterfall, with 80 percent accuracy.
SUPERGORE: Ups the level of blood and gore. To acquire SUPERGORE, you must defeat the second Predator level, Area 52, with 25 marine trophies.
BALLSOFFIRE: Enemies are always on fire. To acquire BALLSOFFIRE, you must defeat the fourth Predator level, Fury 161, with 40 Alien kills.
RAINBOWBLOOD: Causes the lights, smoke and blood effects to be rainbows. To acquire RAINBOWBLOOD, you must defeat the fifth Predator level, Caverns, and be spotted less than 15 times.
IMPOSSIBLEMISSION: Causes the game to be more difficult because you take more damage. To acquire IMPOSSIBLEMISSION, you must defeat the second Alien bonus level with 20 live marine head bites.
TICKERTAPE: Aliens all have a trail following them. To acquire TICKERTAPE, you must defeat the first Predator bonus level, Invasion, with 15 alien trophies.
TRIPTASTIC: Causes the screen to be blurry, jittering, and rainbow. To acquire TRIPTASTIC, you must defeat the second Predator bonus level, Escape, with 10 civilian trophies.
Aliens versus Predator 2: Gold Edition
Oh but Starkrun Aliens Vs Predator is so old and looks all poopie... ok fine ya sonofa.... *Ahem*
Fun Fact: you can play 3 campaigns that are interwoven together and must be played to get the entire story... i actually got a little misty eyed when i played as the alien!
May i introduce AVP2 and Primal hunt, Great games which enhance on the ideals of AVP1 and it can still be played on today's hardware very well. So your like MAN i loved AVP1 i was the best Alien on the BLOCK im going to be one of them... you load up AVP2 say hell YEAH im an alien and POOF loading.... Your a F A C E H U G G E R YES i just said you start the life cycle coming out from an egg and hunting a biological host ((no i never said human HEHE)) to impregnate and become a CHEST BURSTER which then needs to eat and gather strength to metamorphose into a full blown alien adolescent SWEETNESS! the Preds get the there famous Wrist blade a Boomrang auto homing Frisbee of death and a shoulder mounted cannon... Oh yeah a huge staff of gore... marines get a pulse rifle... OK ok ok and a smart gun and a flamethrower just like in AVP1 but it doesn't matter when your face is being eattin by the alien that was camping ON THE CEILING waiting to EAT YOUR FACE....
Note: If by now you haven't jumped up out of your chair and screamed yes then i need to smack you HARD, please msg me your address :)
Next thing im going to talk about are cybernetic android opponents that bleed White lubrication instead of blood and can fight while missing arms and legs... wait no i don't i just told you.. yeah... missing legs, were talking terminator stuff here.
Ok on to primal hunt the Exspansion for AVP2.... basicaly its 3 new storys all linked and fun yadda yadda... You get to play an Alien/Predator hybrid, called the "Predalien" in the game. No im not shitting you... a walking death machine of hurt and pain with a splash of gore. You basically hit something and it cry's for its mother right before it explodes into tiny bits... Again, if your not excited about this you can safely label yourself a Casual gamer. You now have your justification for the Wii you paid $300 for at launch.
Dear fellow GOG players and Developers, these games are a corner stone of Awesome. IN the great words of Bill and Ted:
Ted: Dude, are you sure we should be doing this?
Bill: Ted, you and I have witnessed many things, but nothing as bodacious as what just happened. Besides, we told ourselves to listen to this guy.
Ted: What if we were lying?
Bill: Why would we lie to ourselves?
And mighty members of GOG, why would i lie to you, i am a loyal member of the community, and i say We need these games. They will become the greatest addition to GOG the likes of which we have never seen. Please help me bring these fruits of gaming glory here!
Fun Fact2: Aliens can eat the corpses of enemy's and regain health, or you can CONSUME THERE FACES for almost full life!
Fun Fact3: As the pred you can SPEAR the HEADS of humans and aliens and keep them as little mementos to give to your pred babies or that cute little pred woman you've had your eye on... SPEAR THE HEADS OF PEOPLE... like rip them off with your Wrist Blade!!!!

Also Need for Speed, Porsche unlimited???/

TDKOMG: Dungeon Keeper 2. Primarily because getting it to run reliably in anything later than windows 98 reliably is a pain. It'd be nice to not have to run it in virtual PC everytime I'd like to slap an imp.

Update the qmixer.dll & it runs fine in XP / Vista.
I miss Eye of the Beholders series here :(
Hope, one day, It'll happen ;)

Nocturne
I'm so glad this thread continues to grow, because it is literally a thread to just collect newbie posts.
