Phaidox: remind them of the existence of PC versions of old REs.

michaelleung: Wait, they have those?

Of course. Moreover, they were superior to their console counterparts, in my opinion. It'd be absolutely awesome if GOG could bring those classics back, I'd buy them in a heartbeat.
We desperately need Resident Evil 1, 2 and 3 here.

I don't know about that. As for FF7 and FF8 PC versions, the resolution has been increased but not the 2D backgrounds. It results in an ugly mix between fine 3D characters and very blurry backgrounds.

I can't speak for those three, as I haven't played them, but given the absolute crapfest that was RE4 on the PC, I am dubious as to how good those PC ports are... I would love to proven wrong, though.

Superior!? How do you figure that? Those are two of the worst PC ports I've ever played!
I truly believe F1 Manager belongs on GOG
The best game I've ever played.
With updated files it could... no, would be awesome!

I dunno if it can be any worse than say Bully PC...
I want the Monkey Island games, (I only own 3&4), Sam & Max: Hit the Road, and Grim Fandango. (Someone needs to smack some sense into Lucasarts; don't they know they have a financial gold mine in their old games???)
I would also love to play The Last Express.
Yeah. Monkey Island series, Sam & Max, Grim Fandango, and that other SCUMM game with the alien in the building, don't remember the name.
Dungeon Keeper or DK 2 is the other game I really really want to see on GOG.
Also: the original Grand Theft Auto. I read through a few pages of this thread, and can't believe noone else seems to have brought it up yet. O_o

Rockstar games released the original GTA and GTA II for free without any DRM.

I want Wing Commander Kilrathi Saga because the eBay prices are bloated, and my used copies are too scratched to play WCIII. I also want Wing Commander IV DVD and Prophecy Gold, but I won't hold my breath. :)
X-Wing / Tie Fighter games, RtC-Wolfenstein Platinum, Star Control 3 and Mechwarrior 3 Gold would be nice additions as well. :)

Do they actually work decently for anyone though? I've only had problems with them and always found that a better solution has been to find the originals on some torrent site and run that in a virtual machine with Win98 for better performance.

I run on XP and Vista 64 without any problems.
I beg for Wasteland. Just talk to Brian Fargo and get him to let you publish a copy. I'll gladly pay $9.99 for that puppy, seriously.

If not mentioned, the X-com games would be nice, I see them in D2D.
I saw the wing commander Series mentioned.
Now an oldie but fabulous goodie in the BASS style game was Neuromancer, by Interplay. wonderful game
X-Com is a great idea...I've always wanted to play them but never got a chance.
And speaking of aliens...
ALIEN VS. PREDATOR GOLD EDITION.
It should be here.
Thank you.
