Ok, am I screwed in the head or do a lot of others here sit at their computer most of the day going back forth amongst all the digi sites to see if anything new has popped up for sale?

Damndest thing is that I keep checking GamersGate and I know they don't update anything until 9pm my time.
This is why I have a net phone, my ass never has to leave the couch to do this and I can just pause my XBox while doing so:)

Tbh, I'm not all that OCD about it anymore. I do go a bit batty around Black Friday, though, and I've been branching out to kitchen stuff which is another expensive hobby:(
Not really, apart from forums, Steam and GOG I don't check that many online stores. i do keep an eye on the gaming deals thread though.

Now you can cut down on all that site hopping =)
It's true that bansama has your back. But yeah, checking sites is a problem. I check this one too much these days. I can't just focus on my programming, I have to be checking the net as well. I should probably unplug, but I use a lot of sites for reference. I think once I settle into another job I will lack the free time to waste in such a way.

Lol, man! Now I don't feel so OCD - this is pretty awesome.

As far as I know, that's not possible. You'll have to check with whatever you use for RSS feeds. I personally don't use RSS feeds so my knowledge of them is limited. So if you have information on changing how RSS feeds display in a browser, point me to it.

Did you read the following? http://didimatic.com/forum/index.php/topic,176

In short, development and support of that function is currently on hold. I need to find the time to test a few possible solutions to the problem that function faces and until I solve those problems, the feature won't be supported. Sorry.

No worries. Hopefully, I'll find a solution that works to a point I'm happy with it...

That isn't my obsession, actually.

Me, I have an obsession with tweaking my Android phone. I've spent countless hours shaving SECONDS off minor tasks on my phone so I can cram more tasks into that space. I go through more than a single UI overhaul every week. And it hasn't helped that I"m now getting nightly Cyanogen builds.

I have a problem.
My office closes in 3 weeks. There is no work to do. So it's the World Wide Web from 9 to 5!
I do the same thing, but I'm more obsessed with updating my Twitter feed. I follow a lot of influential people in the games industry and games journalism, and I'm always fascinated by what they have to say. There's something intoxicating about the constant feed of information.

welcome to my world baby

though being honest I spend so much time here during the mornings/midday is because I browse these forums when I'm at work and when there is nothing to do there

which is why you see me resurrecting threads from like 2009-10 sometimes

that's probably the only real time I browse these forums, at weekends I usually do not post at all because i'm busy with other things
Me too! I always have to check out Impulse, Steam, GoG and various E-stores here in Denmark to see if anything new is out or on sale. It's retarded since I own almost 400 games and many of those I haven't even played yet! But I can't just pass up on a good deal can't I?
I spend a lot of time here but it's mainly for the community. The lovely Friday sales help and of course I'm always skulking about the boards come Tuesday and Thursday to see what new games get added.

If I had to choose an obsession or something I'm rather OCD about, it would be ID3 tags. I spend way too much time editing them til they're perfect to how I feel they should look. :P

I need to do a backup off my unrooted EVO before I root and install my first Cyanogen ROM, what should I use, Astro? The one I wanted to use requires root already, Titanium Backup.

I know someone who has his EVO plugged in constantly, he's doing so much stuff on it.
