First of all one big round of applause for Mr. Dragonsys for making this giveaway possible by donating the game.
NOTE: I hope its Mr. and not Mrs. or Miss, this forum needs some god damned Male/Female signs or something to surpass any future confusion.

Ok, I'll be your humble host, and we have one extraordinary game for you...Eschalon Book II (Steam)

To obtain it you need to do two things:
1. Tell me why you would like to play this game (right now or in near future it doesn't matter)
2. Post a link (MobyGames, Wikipedia whatever) to some fantasy RPG that you think I never heard of (JRPGs are a big NO NO)
This two thing give you points.
Example 1: I really like your "alibi" and you score 3 points but you post a link to some poo-poo RPG and you get -1 for a total of 2 points.
Example 2: Your "case" doesn't drink the water but its not offensive and you get 0 points but you blow my mind by posting a link to some amazing RPG I just don't know how I never heard about that one before and get huge 3 points there.

No rep limit, no stupid random.org, I'll decide who is worthy to have this lovely game by giving points for you posts.
If you fool me, well, anyone who fool me have deserves to get away with it.
You can only enter for yourself, because life is tough and you must learn to stand for yourself (if you haven't already).
This competition will be active until THE CHOSEN ONE arrives.

GAME ON!
Not in, but thanks for your generosity, both of you, BranjoHello and Dragonsys!
Not in but +1

Simple question: Why no JRPG?
Another obscure RPG hunt...

Well, first of all, count me in and +1 for the giveaway.

1. Tell me why you would like to play this game (right now or in near future it doesn't matter)
A: Well, it's an RPG and I'm a PC RPG gamer, why do I need a reason to play the type of game I really like. I've played many RPGs even when they are rated bad (Ultima VII for NES). I'm the kind of guy who doesn't believe in reviews so no matter how good or bad a game is rated, I prefer to play it myself and then be able to rate it. So far, the best RPG I've ever played is Darklands and Ultima IV: Quest of the Avatar. They are in my first place (both of them) but I had to choose between them, I would say Darklands.

2. Post a link (MobyGames, Wikipedia whatever) to some fantasy RPG that you think I never heard of (JRPGs are a big NO NO)
A: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phantasie
Ok, not really interested in the Steam version, but if it can be traded to the GOG version, I'm In.

1. I want to play this game simply because I have never played it. Nuff said.

2. Ok, so, not fantasy, but I found this game when it first came out and it was AWSOME!. I recently DOS-BOXed it and found it still keeps me going. Hope you enjoy.

Sry not a proper link, wouldn't let me post a link.

Don't forget to browse this site, they have some excellent older games.

Thanks for the giveaway. :)

(Not in)
You probably heard of it but it's a nice game nonetheless http://www.rtsoft.com/pages/dink.php
In for Mentao if I may...
Nice giveaway +1!, not in, i have it :)

Some rpg's: Wizards & Warriors, I of the Dragon, Icarus: Sanctuary of the Gods, Fate, Harbinger, Seal of Evil, Prince of Qin, Throne of Darkness, Siege of Avalon, Valhalla Chronicles, Pool of Radiance: Ruins of Myth Drannor
I really don't have a better reason beyond liking the look of it and not had the cash at the right time to pick up a copy. Pretty shoddy for an RPG addict ;)

I never used to think this one obscure, but so few people I speak with have ever played Fountain of Dreams so I guess it must count!

1) This game seems to follow the more classic RPG Styles of games like Castle of the Winds, but with "modern" technology. I love that. I loved COTW, even though I could never beat it.

2) Blind Justice
Not in since I already have it, great game btw.

Well since you are searching for obscure rpg's here's one: Ascension to the Throne.
Not in since I'm not using Steam ATM. Nice giveaway. It reminds me of Spiderweb's games with a little infinity engine thrown in

Nice choices, not much to add. Maybe Soulbringer or Arx Fatalis.
Actually, Icarus wasn't as bad as it could have been. They sold it as a Diablo like, which it definitely wasn't. It was a turn-based tactics game.

Also, OP Aethra's Chronicles, one of the hardest unfinished series of turn based tactical fantasy games I ever played growing up.

(not in, just like talking about really rare/obscure RPGs)
