Just out of boring realism based curiosity, not wanting to quell all the "yay they are games" euphoria, but aren't gifts the president get achieved and later sold for charity or somesuch? Seem to remember to have read something like they can't really "enjoy" their presents, because they aren't really allowed to keep them.

The poll? What about the quote underneath it?
"The Witcher 2 is a hit," This is the best-selling game in the PC version of the world. So much better than the playstation version of the world which is currently undergoing "scheduled" maintenance

Laverre: like they can't really "enjoy" their presents, because they aren't really allowed to keep them.
Cambrey: He probably has never heard of the game before, and would not have time to play it anyway, even if he can keep the gifts. I would imagine that he has more important stuff to do than play a video game. A casual game every once in a blue moon, maybe, but a rpg game ? No way. Post edited May 28, 2011 by Laverre

If I was president and I got Dragon Age 2, I'll probably go to war with everyone.

Fox News shit itself when it found out Mass Effect had a bra in it; they'll call for war on Poland when they find they gave a game to the president that has a lot of sex in it.

TheCheese33: Yeah, I completely forgot that Tusk is probably playing it, too. That's pretty awesome!
Let's just hope we don't start giving copies of Call of Duty to world leaders. Something like Sam and Max would probably work wonders, as laughter is a universal language.

Good thing he didn't get a game from Denmark. Not that many to chose from and I'm not sure giving him Hitman or Kane & Lynch would be considered a diplomatically correct solution.
Maybe a special Hitman edition where he has to asassinate himself? I just don't see that as helpful, but it could be entertaining.

Arteveld: Well, that would work better with Bush [yeah i know, who wants Bush here]. But, he'd go with his "either You're with us, or against us", as in, "whoever-we-are" or "terrorist", and we'd be set. Kotick would grow a pair, or get a pair blown off. Wouldn't the life of a games be simpler? ah.. ;)
Nay.., good old George is just too old for PC gaming (they used other things to relax in 70 :-). Obama on the other hand studied at the break of 80/90 so theoretically he could spend nights playing Zork - of course if you have time for that stuff when on Harvard :-)cjrgreen

Laverre: That goes without saying, like I said, it wasn't meant as a "back to reality" call, but was intended as a real question. Could be someone knows, what the regulations are in America for gifts recieved by the president :). Vestin

Oh, You got a point there. But perhaps one of his advisors would check it out, You know, George asking "wussa PC game?"..;) If they had time on MIT, i bet they did on Harvard, but were to leet to openly admit, i guess. :)

I really doubt that he’ll have time to play video game. And does he even enjoy doing that?
