And I think the blame is on me screwing around with the Registry editor.

When I press yes to uninstall a pop up appears saying this:

Runtime Error(at226:321):
SWbemLocator: Class not Registered

Does anyone especially the GOG mods know whats the SWbemLocator?

If rebooting does not work I would try installing a new gog game, who knows, it might do the trick,

I suggest you go to support.

You could try running CCleaner's registry tab, maybe that'll find the missing or wrong registry keys and solve your issue.

Now the million dollar question: Why were you messing around with that hehe!

Do you have any extra info in Event Viewer's error log?

This might be a bit drastic, but is there any way you could backup your important data and completely re-install windows?

Crsldmc: I suggest you go to support.

You could try running CCleaner's registry tab, maybe that'll find the missing or wrong registry keys and solve your issue.

Now the million dollar question: Why were you messing around with that hehe!
Because I was removing iminent related things (A malaicous virus ridden program) from my computer in the registry editor while a youtube vid which shows how to do it. Appearently I screwed up or removed other essential things from the computer. And why oh why did it had to be this perticular action that I do often on my computer.

And its only GOG games i can uninstall other things except this.

No most of my favorite programs are about more than 70 gigs and all I have is 1 pendrive that can hold 36 gigs.

I feel you, hope you can solve it, try out my CCleaner suggestion maybe that'll help.

You could try re-installing the game in the exact same location and then try to uninstall it.
Theoretically it should recreate the registry entries.
It's also possible to simply remove things from the add/remove program list by way of regedit or another application.
It's not as neat because you might leave a few tiny files and registry entries around, but that's not really that big of a deal and certainly better than re-installing Windows.

Edit: For example CCleaner and MyUninstaller should be able to remove Uninstall entries for you.

I found out about this when I just recently installe STALKER Call of Pripyat just to see how my computer handles it and it won't uninstall. Than I tried uninstalling an older game I installed a while ago and it did not uninstalled aswell.

So rebooting as in shut down and turn on PC?

Try a registry scan with GlaryUtilities or something. I'm sure there's also a way to restore to default.

By simply installing it over the old installation.
I also found something about re-registering certain WMI DLLs here, but I would definitely try a reboot first if you haven't tried that.
The SWbemsomethingorother seems to be related to using the WMI interface to connect to certain bits of WIndows information, most likely in this case the registry.
