TheCycoONE: To be generous it's often written as UTC these days.

Seriously though http://lmgtfy.com/?q=what+is+gmt

wodmarach: only by americans and atomic time specialists ;)
Im an American, and I have never heard of this UTC until just now.
In Windows Vista and 7 [and maybe XP, I don't remember] you can add multiple time zone clocks to the tooltip for your system tray clock.. that is how I keep track of non US time zones easily :) (Right click on the clock, select Adjust Time, and then the Additional Clocks tab)

[Right now, since DST is no longer in effect, GMT/UTC is +5 to US Eastern]
A guy I know thought GMT meant "GaMe Time". This caused him to be late for a guild/community event of some kind as the WoW server we played on displayed GMT+1 time.

Live and learn!

Was there already an "ignorant American" joke? No? Yeah, probably to easy anyway...
I usually use Google to check time in various cities - in this instance, entering

time gmt

would have given the OP the answer. Entering time gtm would have worked, too ;)

GameRager: Not to be TOO crass but time is all an illusionary system made up by man to organise a series of consecutive events into a chronological order.
The measuring of time is, not time itself.

Yeah this is what I was trying to convey.

JeCy: Not knowing what what the heck GTM time is.. thinking i had till noon...

Woke up this morning logged in to buy the witcher 2.. and saw it expired.. made for a not so good morning.. :(

I already had witcher 1, and wanted to gift it to a friend, and i've been looking forward to grabbing it all week.. Totally bummed..
Unless GOG excludes the Witcher games from their "whole catalogue 50% off" Christmas sale, you might be able to buy them for $25 next week anyway (starting Monday).

EDIT: Yeah ... mrcrispy83 is probably right; I guess they will exclude TW2 from the sale then. Sorry. :(

Well I believe the promo said that that's the cheapest TW2 will be for the rest of the season.
This happened to me before and now i try to instant buy if i see a game that is a good deal. Anything can happen at anytime, like prices changes, sale ending etc.

keeveek: Thank God only americans think USA is the center of the world.
No, I'm pretty sure everyone knows that the center of an approximate oblate spheroid wouldn't be on the surface of it.

Really? Because I saw some people who think human has three kidneys ;P

ps. you may find a center of a surface, you just need a map for this. :P

No, no AFAIK, In the deal just ended, Witcher 2 was 60% off with Witcher 1 thrown in and will be 50% off by itself in the main offer

Well, in any case it's worth to postpone the lamenting until Monday; who knows, it might pay off. :)
When I was a kid I used to think that GTM stood for:

Gigantic
Taco
Munchies

Anyway, OP, just pay more attention to the timezones and time constraints on the promos and offers, once they are gone - they are gone
