I have to say, seeing hunger strikes being used for such stupid reasons angers me. There are people resorting to them for desperate and arguably legitimate reasons, bringing it up for something like this annoys me. And yes, I know the guy has several demands, but just having the PS2 replacement among them makes anything else he asks feel stupid.

You are missing the point of Norwegian prisons. They are not there to punish people with torture until they are so twisted and evil, they make the Joker from Batman look like a nice guy and then set them free. They are there to try to turn criminals into civilized people. Of course, I doubt this works for everyone. Some people can never become civilized, I imagine.
