carlosjuero: The main question would be: Has there ever been a DRM free version of TQ/TQ:IT?
I know that part of the original problems w/ TQ were due to its somewhat nasty DRM that would purposely crash illegal copies of the game when trying to exit one of the first caves you enter (if I remember right at least). I don't remember if Iron Forge ever patched this problem out. I do know that I have only ever seen TQ for sale on DRM friendly platforms (Steam, D2D, etc)
hedwards: As far as I know you can already get a DRM free version. The discs were DRM free IIRC and you can presently buy it here:
http://www.gamersgate.com/DD-TQPACK/titan-quest-gold-edition-bundle So getting one here is just a matter of signing the contracts.
The Gamersgate version lists 'Other DRM' - GG is pretty good about notifying customers of the existance of DRM.
The disc versions had sector based CD checks I believe, at least the original ones did (you needed a no-CD 'fix' to play w/o the CD).
It would be nice if they could come to a deal for a DRM free version - I would buy it so I could have the game w/o the DRM in the copies I own already.
