I have tried everything i could possibly do. i originally tried paying straight from a debit card but it kept giving me an error saying that the bank was blocking the transaction. i thought that maybe the recent heart bleed problem had something to do with this so instead i tried using a prepaid card. but that gave the exact same error. i then tried putting these cards through paypal but strangely enough it was giving me similar errors. does anybody have any idea what is going on in the Florida area that would cause this.
Your bank probably blocks payments to Cyprus (country where gog is 'declared').
For paypal and prepaid cards other people more knowledgeable than me should manifest themselves soon.

how exactly then can i buy anything from here, prepaid cards only work in the U.S..
Earlier today I picked up The Pit: Pilgrim DLC and got an odd error message saying the transaction could not be verified and may or may not have been successful; it was and the game showed up minutes later - not sure if that's related.

I had a "problem" with my card in my early days until i found out that i have to go to my e-banking settings and set a limit for online transactions which was set to default 0 so i couldn't buy anything until i set it to like more than zero per day.
However i'd guess you're not that much of a noob as i was so i'm not sure that this is really the issue with your payments.

I never used paypal on gog, but I would have believe it was 'the sure way' to buy things in here.
For prepaid cards, well, I just learned something :)
