With that log in you shouldn't have to pay for games. Shit, you should be made a 'Blue'.

Thanks but I think we already all have Tyrian.
My bank shows GOG as a Cyprus bank when I buy here, but if SirPrimalform is correct and they are using UK based banks to do their transactions then I must point out -
It is night time here, and past 10pm so the right time for maintenance. When I went to log into my own back at midnight I was told that it was down for maintenance for a short period... I would guess all the banks went and took the same idea.

As another suggestion: have you tried a Credit Card?

You wouldn't have to do it every time. Just tell your bank not to flag your GOG transactions in the future.

ya, this makes the most sense. then you wont have to deal with it ever again.
i use Paypal without any issues.
never had a problem with purchasing any GoG games, but awhile back, i had a problem with Green Man Gaming.
but fixed it by doing exactly what Cormoran stated here.
its an easy 1 time fix.
Wasn't GOG considering a US "branch" or something similar? Would that help with these transaction issues? (I know I'd LOVE to visit it, lol, if they allowed people to visit.)

I wonder why people choose to stay in shitty banks like this. Lemme guess, Bank of America?

rivetman: ...Any ideas?? ...
I would consult with your bank or credit card company and demand from them that they make if possible for you to pay otherwise you change the service provider.

If this doesn't help you could also ask GOG if they know of this problem and know where to go to solve the problem.
Has anyone else noticed it's almost always an American who has had a problem with either the transaction, the install process or the site itself somehow?

Yeah, and I'm trying to figure that out myself. I've never had any trouble at all and my bank is both paranoid and idiotic and obviously American. Maybe I should ask the guy who's identity I stole if he ever has any trouble.

Well maybe simply a majority (don't know about enrichment above % of Americans on the site ofc) - I've seen a lot of others having GOG site problems too :)
