Just because you don't care doesn't mean others don't. I for one will gladly welcome our new graphically superior overlords. As long as what they bring with them plays good and has a catchy title anyways.

I'm the same....to a point. Graphics that are too old I can't get over enough to play the game. Like really old I mean.

I'm still replaying X-COM every now and then. And I'm replaying Police Quest 4 hehehe.

I don't want shiny graphics for graphics sake, but it is a shame to see one more area of technology stutter merely due to market pressure and poor worldwide economy. GPUs won't improve, CPUs may actually improve less in response, etc.
