My Windows has no internet connection (I removed all network related drivers from the installation CD prior installing).

I keep Windows only for the few games I cannot play under Linux.

I was wondering, is there a way to play games that are only sold via Steam or require some Steam nonsense without an Internet connection? In particular I am interested in Serious Sam 3.

I imagine not, but I ask here just in case.
You can pirate it if you want.
If a game is steamworks, an internet connection is, ultimately, mandatory.

Isn't consumerism awesome?
For Steam games you need Internet at least during installation and then you can setup offline mode which will work for some undetermined time. If your Windows doesn't have network drivers then you must avoid Steam games.
Some games that require SecuROM online activation offer an offline authentication which requires an online machine to do the authentication instead of the offline machine.
No, the only thing I can think of is downloading them using Steam in Wine (not sure if that's even possible), cracking them and then running them in Windows. Steam requires an internet connection for installation unfortunately.
Thanks everyone. Well, they won't see my money. I know they do not care at all.

But in the deep of my heart I hope that other people will follow my example and one day all the digital distribution will be as in gog. Simple effective and no-nonsense.

Some Steam games work if you replace the main .exe with a retail nocd patch, that is what I have been doing when I back up my games, just in case I either get a situation like yours or if Steam service goes down.
@sloganvirst and kavazovangel
You are obviously right. Just I think it is not worth it.

It seems that steam and co hate me I will just give no money to them.

Wanted to say that you can purchase it, and then just pirate it if you don't want to install it through Steam.
Oh god, how will I play my Steam games when the Iranians nuke the shit out of us?

You can enjoy the wide range of games developed in Iran. Your Persian overlords know you have a choice in Gaming and you will choose Iranian otherwise you will be stoned...the bad kind.
