Or is there? I looked up a game developer called Cryptic Studios to find their game was... the recently ended City of Heroes. Then I found out their next big game is Neverwinter.

Is this a hint at Neverwinter Nights 2 or am I looking too much into this?

I'm pretty sure you are, GOG usually doesn't release anything around christmas as the hype would be easily drowned out by the bells, carols, and holiday sales chaos.

I initially thought of "Cryptic Passage" for BLOOD but then I remembered that BLOOD already includes all of the expansion packs :)

On Thursday next week, a "Neverwinter Nights Weekend" special occasion. GOG will strike a new deal with Hasbro, Neverwinter Nights 1 will be updated with the premium modules that weren't in the Diamond edition. Also Neverwinter Nights 2 Platinum will be released at the same time, along with the Westgate module that was left out. Packages will be renamed "Neverwinter Nights Complete" and "Neverwinter Nights 2 Complete". The weekend promo will discount both games at 40% off.

Cryptic Comet's Soium Infernum would be a perfect match for Eador.
Also, the development of Occult Chronicles was reported in final stages in late Spetember.
