I am close to proposing we have another thread and hide it on the forums since we got a stalker or two that has a small penis and loves ruining other's rep. GOG needs to take rep away, no reason for it.
I don't think they are targeting threads, they are targeting members. If it helps I dig you and I'm sure 99.99 % of the rest of the forum does too so try not to let a few pricks get you down. Easier said than done I know; it took me over a year to stop giving a shit.

There should be a special community star by people's names that are vetted and liked by respected parts of the community here lol then the rep level wouldn't matter

I am not so sure its specific members now since the down reps have hitted EVERYONE at times

By the way, in case folks are wondering why I have so many codes that I have to organize them, I had planned on doing a really big contest here, one that would last for awhile (weeks, maybe months) where it was a cumulative thing. With daily winners getting codes, weekly winners, and then finally a first, second and third prize for the cumulative winners that were going to be pretty impressive. I wanted to base it on baseball.

So I went and bought multiple copies of bundles all over the place, particularly Bundle Stars, but many others too. And then I made a post before the season started to see if I could others to donate to the cause and make it really big and to gauge interest in the concept.

It was EPIC FAIL. lol. I think three people responded to the post. lol

So, I'm trying to organize all these codes, and have been giving them away here off and on lately, and sometimes forgetting to mark the ones off that I have given away, OR have not been sure whether I remembered to mark them off, and well, you get the idea.

Anyway, just wanted to explain. I did NOT buy all of these codes to resell or trade. That seems to be something that folks are doing and was explained to me as a reason why gog won't give separate codes for gift purchases of multiple games. I have NEVER sold a code in my life, and won't. I will, however, give them away. Until they're gone.

I just kind of pity the downrepper since he must be pretty alone and sad inside to bother going through all the posts and downrepping certain people. Glad he doesn't know what we look like and exactly where we live, afraid he come over with a gun or something

I just mentioned this in a PM but so long as I don't post their reply or who it was too I guess this isn't in violation of confidentiality. :D

Fact is that every post I make gets hit, EVERY ONE, and the reason I'm not Lester myself is that people go back and rerep everything I post. I've asked them not to but they do and so be it. I'm not going anywhere and honestly I rather those assholes be in here being assholes rather that out in the real world contaminating the gene pool. :D

Now let's get back to the thread topic, of which I have no interest unless someone has a Chicago 1930 handy :P, so I'll just make my exeunt for now and go back to surfing porn....I mean ummmmmm baseball scores. Yeah.....baseball....that's what I meant! :O

Yeah, I think every response I got in the thread was someone willing to donate some more games to the cause. So many wonderful people here.

But baseball doesn't appear to be a popular sport here at gog. lol.

I was going to do a contest where players would predict the winners of each nights games. And the winner of each night would get a prize. And the number they got right would be tracked, and then the next night would add another daily winner, and those results would be added to the previous day etc. etc. etc.

And then award those with the most right for the week, and maybe the month, and then award prizes at the end based on who got the most right during the whole contest.

But, ...... lol baseball isn't big at gog at guess. Which seems strange to me since it's the greatest show on earth (Barnum and Bailey were wrong). lol

yeah but nfl isn't very populair either and someone made a successful giveaway out of it too.
think baseball is more populair then that atleast.

Baseball is only amusing with beer... lots of beer... what is it with American sports that they all have to be soooo stop / start? >_>

Baseball, like American football, is big enough over in the US but GOG has a very international community here more so than most English language sites. If you did one for original Football/Soccer may of gotten some hits lol
