I decided to giveaway Die By The Sword today. A much underrated game in my opinion, and it really tried to do something new.

It's a simple task for you. At first I thought I would keep with the sword fighting theme, and ask who would win in a fight between Conan, and Red Sonja. Then decided that an Arnie question is more appropriate:

Who would win in unarmed combat (possibly allow bladed weapons, up to you) in - The Terminator vs The Predator?

You have 15 minutes to answer, I'll give the code to any well reasoned answers, or it goes to a code grab.

While they are semi equally matched, Ripley steps in and chaos ensues, if I remember this well. But it does depend a lot on the terminator model.

See, the question is how unarmed is each participant? If the Predator has the majority of his gear handy (particularly his cloak and visor) then it's a fairly matched fight. The Predator just needs to use stealth to match the brute strength.

If not (which is what I'm assuming), the Terminator is simply far more durable and harder to kill bare handed due to being a machine, so clearly the round goes to Arnie-bot.

Die by the sword...one of the few games I didn't buy, but I really wanted to try it.

I think Terminator would win, because Predator mainly counts on his equipment (Blades, gadgets of all kind) but Terminator...well he is Terminator, living machine made from steel (or even more durable material) so I think he could smash in soft humanoid head pretty easily...just imagine how easily he could grab him by his neck and then punch him in the face until there would be squishy alien stuff everywhere.

Well, the Predator obviously. His shoulder cannon will ensure that nothing but a steaming pile of junk is left of the Terminator. And in any case, the disc is a one hit kill.

But this is unarmed combat. And that makes the Terminator the clear victor. A Predator without it's gadgets is close to useless compared with the brute strength and resilience of the Terminator.

You're right, I missed the unarmed bit. I think you're right - extreme heat seems to be the only thing that can kill a terminator.

Well, you're right FraterPerdurabo, the game was rigged. My answer - this is the movies, the underdog wins out in the end. Besides, I was opening up bladed weapons, the terminator model I had in mind was a T-800, and he got killed by a car crusher, so I think it's possible with his bladed weapons and strength for the predator to slice him up.

Anyway, I'm putting this to the grab, as no-one supported the predator (I make the rules!): 53XC-LF9W-EQC7-QAJD
