Yeah or course.

you dont have to giveaway the gamename if you dont want to but perhaps if you hint its mac people atleast know beforehand and one can take it who can use it. :)

Historically that has worked pretty poorly. Even when putting the word Mac in bold, I still get people so say that they are sorry for grabbing the games roughly as often. But I'll do that again, and make a comparison between the frequency of "missgrabs".

At least they do acknowledge they grabbed the wrong game, so I admire that.

Gamer's Gate gives you a screen where it shows you the game that you are about to redeem, and you need to confirm that you want it. It is steam that lacks this feature.
