In any case, if time-travel was really possible, personally I think that any change in the time-line would create a divergent time-line, so it's effectively not possible to 'change the future'. More or less the explanation they give in Back to the Future 2, I think.

I agree....in most cases you'd just get bumped into a new timeline where what you changed was how things were supposed to be or you'd end up creating a whole new timeline.

(Creating a new "universe"....like whoa, dude.)

Question is, what wou;d happen to the "you" from the timeline you entered into/created from changing stuff around in time? Erased? Merged with the you "you"? 0.o
I think the 'new' time-line, the one 'created' after changing something compared to the 'original' one (from the point of view of the time-traveller) would from that point on contain two 'instances' of the same person. The 'native' one from that time-line, and the time-traveller. They would be absolutely undistinguisable from each other from a biological point of view, and I don't think anything would happen if they interacted between them. Assuming the divergent time-line is close enough to the 'original' one, at first the time-traveller might be able to take advantage of his knowledge of the 'past', but as time passed, his predictions would be less and less accurate because the time-line would diverge more and more from the 'original' one.

when i was in the checkout for my free copy of Commandos 3 - Destination Berlin/ over at Green Man Gaming I saw that cellphone was a payment option and after trying to buy a game that has been on my whislist a long time (i.e. shining force) they didn't give me that option. After searching their forums i found out that it it only avalible in the UK. my dissapointment is complete for today,
