Now that I think about it, if any company uses a logarithm to generate keys, and IF someone can decifer that code from comparing a lot of keys...
that would be a little scare... I believe this has happened in the past if I'm not mistaken.

spoderman: The Starcraft keys were from a keygen.. pretty sure of that. I would recommend not redeeming them.

Not sure about Snuggletruck.
aye exactly my point - 1000s of them on a dropbox file - because blizzard loves freebies via dropbox! heheh! ;)
dunno - think the last game from the same site as the (perhaps perversely) names snuggletruck also hit a aimilar deal where many were already redeemed / duplicate.

Edit: bugs me the SC ones were shared here as a good thing though!

blackwell deception only recently - 30,000 of the buggers and nobody needed an algorhythm. just a back door. thankfully they retracted those being redeemable / from peoples accounts, but it didnt stop exploiters (here as well as farther afield) trying to get rid of them fro personal or financial profit!

well,if the original poster of the codes here at gog.com didn't know their source, I wouldn't be upset with.

Like, if I found a treasure trove of unused gift codes and posted them here, I'd be psyched.... oh when is season 8 of psych coming out, eek december.

I wonder how people even get ahold of these exploited starcraft keys do they have some shady forums where exploiters drop the keys? or something

I would guess they'd have shady practices to begin with if they do it frequently - but having looked on other sites regarding this kind of thing (ie steamgifts etc), it seems most peopel coming out with more than a single code are linked to pro scamming rings!
