I think it's more a case of the community (and the gifters) communally keeping a better track of things and questioning peoples actions at the time (either via Pm or thread post if pushed by no reply).
just look back to the other day - plenty of questionable actions on the go.

thats my interpretation / idea if it

Now seriously, I completely agree with Sinistar's opinion, some "entry rules" should be spread around for newer user, so this situation stop happening, the purpose is for all of us, new and regular ones to have fun and play games.

joppo: I surely would approve that (except for the torches and trebuchet) but the problem is that the influx of new users is too big for us to keep alerting every one of them. It'd be hard to keep track if someone new was alerted already or not. Entry rules given by PM would raise even more of a confusion.
Totally true, is a clever idea but to execute it here would only bring more troubles.

I guess other solution should be to "first reply from known user gets *** for steam" I know is a harsh move on new users but what can I say, I've seem some of them acquire games and never come back.

joppo: Maybe I could have waited to just say "oh come on, let others take games too" next time there was a grab, but I can't ever seem to be online at the right times (also why I'm a terrible ninja).

Still, this isn't particularly about Elrinda himself. It's more about this behavior and all the people constantly appearing that think "screw everyone else, if it is free and available I'll get it without a second thought".

Momo1991: I completely concur with your message but might I suggest that a PM to said offender in a helpful manner and tone, which you are quite good at, might I add, would be much more effective? I thought so ;-)
And now you see the other side of the coin.
As I said, not so much about Elrinda per se. If I PM him, even if he listens to me the next new guy would start all over again. He was the target of a message that could be sent to pretty much 6 new guys at any moment in time you choose to read the thread.

BTW, I used the friendly approach once. The new guy appeared to be nice, just a little too eager to enjoy all GOG has to offer including this thread. I was careful not to be offensive. He replied thanking me... and never posted on the whole forum again.
