SEGA is doing a good job re-releasing good old classics on the PC now. A few months ago they released Jet Set Radio, and today NiGHTS into Dreams appeared on Steam.

It is a truly unique gaming experience which all gamers should try at least once.
I Remember I never found it too lok very interesting back in the days and sadly I feel the same today looking at these pictures

Although i'm sure it's a great game but just not caught my interest so don't get this the wrong way

Mate of mine got this on XBox live. We'd both heard of it, but never played it back in the day.

Having remedied that, I can safely say that it is one of the best games I've ever played. Incredible fun, highly imaginative...

If I'm honest, I don't think we'd have appreciated it as much when we were younger, but it is a stunning game.
Fantastic release, please Shenmue next on Steam Sega, pretty please :)

Yes please SEGA, give us shenmue on PC. Would be instant buy for a lot of us :)
A must-buy for me. I played it briefly back in the day but never got a chance to spend enough time with it.

Thanks for the heads-up.
Mmm, I hope GOG makes a deal w/ SEGA soon. dotEmu has them on board, I'm surprised they aren't here yet.

*sees the NTSC SNES*

Argh, my eyes!
This is awesome news.
I see it comes with Christmas Nights.
Used to play that on the Saturn every Christmas...and now I will on PC this Christmas.
That alone is worth it.

Interesting looking game but critics I trust hated it. Will watch some video.
I would buy it in an instant if I didn't already have NiGHTS and Christmas NiGHTS. The widescreen and HD features still sound nice enough that I intend to pick it up on sale. Sure wish we'd get some of these titles on GOG or something, though...

Unless you live in Japan that is. Then they couldn't give a shite.

And that's why we'll never see these on GOG (might see the Megadrive packs 1 through 4 if lucky, but nothing else).

I guess region locked again...

Naturally. There is no longer a single Japanese company that truly supports the PC in Japan anymore. Even Square have gone back on their CEO's promise to support the region.
