The DeathAdder is really their lowest mouse worth buying (I actually have several, and they do keep slightly improving it as the years go by). It looks cool but it's just a workhorse gaming mouse, nothing terribly special.

Now a Merc Stealth Keyboard, that is a nice gaming peripheral.

Actually it's an m305 non-oem mouse. I paid 20 bucks on sale. :)

Actually, all I really want in a "gaming mouse" is two extra buttons on the left side, to expand my right-handed input options a bit. If I had a mouse that was exactly like my basic IBM mouse except for that, I'd be thrilled.

The problem is, I can't find one. The closest I've been able to find is a mouse with one button on the left and one on the right, which is not what I want.

Those $40+ ergonomic mice are almost all explicitly designed for palm users, and so I get severe hand cramps if I use them.

Cool beans. IMO, i'd rather maybe spend more on a monitor or even earphones/headphones(for good sound obv) than waste money of fancy mice and keyboards.

Hey I know about them, their prices are actually good for these markets, only thing that saves me here I can get it all @ entry price since I'm a distributor lol. But even then I'm paying more than in some shop in europe for some parts :S

@GameRager - I totaly agree, I'd rather have a good, big monitor or quality headphones than mouse. My wife tends to step on my wireless mouse or break my keyboards so I'd rather have inexpensive ones XD

It's funny that you say that as the DeathAdder has exactly that. Seriously, it's like 45 bucks. I like gaming periphs because the good ones stand up to the beating that gamers give them. That means they last virtually forever under light use.

Logitech actually makes mice of very good quality, this one I have I've used for almost 8 years now, I played bf2, bfbc2, call of duty and various other titles with it and it's still behaving like at the day one. I reckon that you can get a good mouse in range of 8-40$ that can really last you a lot. Branding matters, logitech is really the only brand I see here that produces mice that can serve as gaming or office mice :)

Yeah, I believe I tried that one out and found it too long and too sharply arched, which is the case with most ergonomic mice.

I think I found a claw mouse by Razer once, but I didn't like it for some other reason (probably the price tag). I don't remember what it was called, but I don't recognize it on their web site.
