Looks as though Vancouver is on the verge of a choke job that makes the one they did last year look good in comparasion.

Pittsburgh Penguins forward Craig Adams has been suspended for one game and Penguins head coach Dan Bylsma has been fined $10,000 for Adams' actions in the final five minutes of Sunday's Eastern Conference Quarterfinal playoff game...

Neal and Asham are in "meetings" today (any news? NHL.com has nothing at this timestamp...) about their actions in Game 3 of the series....

Neal suspended 1 game
Adams suspended 1 game

Given that if they lose tonight's game, that's the end of their season, would Asham's (3) penalties be held-over for next season?

Raffi Torres of the Phoenix Coyotes might be suspended for his check hit on Marian Hossa of the Chicago Blackhawks.

I have not watched any games of the Predators versus the Red Wings, but the Predators may go all the way to the Cup game.

Well, looks like Pens finally woke up :

end of 2nd period, and after going from 2-1 up, to 3-2 down, it's 9-3 for Pens.

Flyers #36 - Rinaldo just earned himself 24 minutes of penalties for a nasty attack on Geno...

Deserved win for Pens.

Rinaldo's attack wasn't something exceptionally nasty. I agree with commentator of the match. He was only ejected because referees wanted to show there won't be no such mess like in last match. It was minor penalty foul, in no way not 24 penalty minutes foul.

Knocked him to the ground for a few minutes....

And then it got worse, but did calm down.
Cookie and Vitaly sent off
2 Flyers. For a stand-up, knock-down fist fight.
Pens 36 - 64 Flyers - Penalty minutes total.

Not as bad as game 3's 158 minutes total, though :\

I gave him "normal" cross-check in his back and then punched him with glove into face, not with stick. It isn't something I adore but it was far from Asham's attack

Hmm, could have been mistaking the attacks, but I did see one Flyer hit a Pen over the head with his stick....Nasty!

Yeah, Asham was lucky with only a 4-game suspension. Hitting someone in the throat like that is not only insanely silly, it's bloody lethal!

Hmm. No, there was another one. Definitely a Flyer smacking a Pen in the head with his stick...damn my memory these days!

Can't find anything in highlights on YouTube...reviewing my chatlogs and I got 2 "FIIIIIIIGHT!" lines : about 10 minutes after the silly penalty for too many men on ice (Apparently Flyers got hit with that, too O_o), and about 10 minutes after Staal's scoring of the 10th Pens goal, for which Cooke and Vitale got sent off...
