Punished_Snake: Exclusive titles?

For example Metal Gear Solid, Last of Us, Uncharted, God of War.
There very few (if any) console exclusives I really care about. If you're really into games like those above fair enough, but you're gonna have to wait a couple years for the new systems to have significant libraries. Maybe you should have waited to get a new system.

That came out for last-gen consoles too, so it's the exact same thing you complained about in your OP.

Yes and no. I mean, there are two version for the game from launch. I took the PS4 because it was a good deal, I payed it 300€ with two pads and Killzone, one year of PSPlus included. But the point is, why do you launch a brand new console, if the point is releasing remastered titles one year old?

On PS3 they did the collection, and this is good. Old Ps2 titles are hard to find, and even if you manage to grab one copy of a famous game (let' say, Ico or Metal Gear Solid 2), they are expansive. On new consolle, there's no need of a new edition of Last of Us. 60 fps mean nothing. I think they are doing this only because is easy to release a PC-to-PS4/ONE version of a game, now. No Cell or similar thing here. So they are pushing hard on those remakes.

I guess.

If you really liked that game I hope you tried Crysis and Far Cry 3. Very similar.

I loved Crysis, but hated 2 and 3. Far Cry 3 was...okay, nothing special.

Punished_Snake: So, this next-gen is very disappointing for now. Six months old consolle, and they are doing so many remastered/HD remake so far.

First, Tomb Raider Definitive Edition
Following, Last of Us.
Then Halo Collection.

And now, Metro Redux.

Where's the point? This trend is horrible. Director's cut, GOTY edition, Extended Edition, Remastered Edition, Special Edition. First were DLCs, then Season Pass bot no, this isnt enough, so the trend now is selling the same game to the same users again and again.
Hey I forgot to ask that technically what is the more powerful console The PS4 or the Xbox One because so far the games I have seen on the Xbox One really shows of its graphical capabilities, Ryse for extreme realism and Killer Instinct for its effects and animation.

There has not been a game that really shows of what the PS4 can do graphically imo.

Nope, because all existent games are "port": Killzone and Infamous where PS3 titles redirected to PS4 with some improvments, and Knack it's nothing special at all.

Well since they will inevitably release perhaps a New God of War and Uncharted, (And eventually David Cage's next) will showcase the PS4s power.

OK never mind what I said Killzone Shadowfall looks lilk Battlefield 4 at max on PC.

Wish I can find technical specs in comparison to both consoles.
I'm also underwhelmed by the next-gen consoles. It somehow feels like a filler between the PS3/XBOX and the next revolutionary gaming console. Not sure what, some interactive, holographic universe.
Note to self - NEVER buy a new game again.

Yeah, it's weird to see people gushing over Watch Dogs when it looks like a high-res 360 port (which is what it is). I'm sure after developers learn the hardware more we will see some better stuff someday, but from what I've read on tech blogs the jump is just never going to be that impressive. PC versions, even with less optimization, are already very far ahead.

It will, like when Mass Effect 1 Uncharted 1, Metal Gear Solid 4, Grand Theft Auto 4 came out the graphics for the time looked phenominal. The human faces looked Photo-Realistic back than.
