Just been sat having a cuppa and decided to watch this week on GOG, the end though has next weeks game hint saying this game wants to make you its bitch. So thinking on that and the advertising campaign from way back when I am thinking Daikatana could well be landing here on GOG

On the subject of Daikatana, it gets a lot of positive mention in this forum but outside of this forum I've never heard anything good about it and thus never bothered to pick it up or even consider picking it up. Am I missing something here?

I hope the media don't pick up on Daikatana right now. Because if they did it would be all the proof they need that a game could make someone want to kill somebody. Just watching Youtubes of it pissed me off.

I'm personally hoping it's the Wizardry games even if it's just Wizardry 1-5. Hey it would fit there pretty hard and Wizardry 4 is really nasty it will make you it's bitch. To this day it's still considered one of the most brutal RPGs ever made.

But that is just wishful thinking

I actually googled "game" and "make you it's bitch" (hey, I've got nothing else to do untill kickoff!) and the only thing I got was Skyrim. Somehow I don't think that's it.

That perhaps some of the people here with opinions on Daikatana have actually played it? ;)

Truthfully almost any game is "good" to least one person, I say almost any game since I have yet to see anyone who said that ET and Big Rigs were good but I sure there is someone out there that does.

I've never played Daikatana, so I really don't have much to say about it either way. I imagine it COULD be fun in a sort of satirical, HEY, LET'S WATCH BAD MOVIES, EAT POPCORN AND GROAN WHEN THINGS GO REALLY BAD kinda way.

Heck, maybe we should get people to take video of themselves playing it. :3

I don't think it's going to be Daikatana. They trolled with Bard's Tale before and I think they did the same now.
