I hope it's Red Faction. Miners wear red, Ultor security is in blue.

In response to a post about release of classic games acquired from THQ, a Nordic Games rep said "maybe February will be a good month if everything will go well" in the Spellforce 2: Demons of the Past release thread. Maybe it did? :D

Red Faction? Good one, also one of the better FPS's disregarding the mediocre sequels.

Vitek: Ok, thanks. I wondered if it fits both games.

F4LL0UT: The second game added more factions with more colors, though, so the hint sounds more like it's specifically about the original Z.

Also: one of the best games ever made. Incredibly frustrating at times but also incredibly exciting in a good way.
Agree 100%. It was the first game I bought as a boxed version together with my brother, so it is a part of my childhood. Besides being really innovative, it is the only "hardcore" game my father played (except stuff like Solitare or Tetris). Do you need any more testimonies of its quality? :)

Huh... That actually makes a lot of sense.
Well, so much for Z. Nothing to see here folks, move along.
So many games have red vs blue it's almost hard to imagine the exact title. I had never heard of Z before, and I also thought of Halo: Combat Evolved first thing, thanks to the Red vs Blue video series from way back:

I'd be happy to see Red Faction here though. That would be the third first person series in less than a month (SiN and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series). A new RTS would be welcome though.

tfishell: However, the other Bitmap Brothers games have been $9.99 ports, so it's possible they'll release a port of one of the versions so they can charge more. (I kinda hope not, though, since people have been complaining about the ports.)

tburger: AFAIK there is no PC port/remake of Z so I bet we get classic 1996 release this Thursday.
Well I figured BB, Mastertronic, or whoever did the Chaos Engine and Speedball 2 HD ports might be making a port for this to simultaneously release on GOG and Steam at $9.99.

BUT perhaps (and hopefully?) not. I suppose we would have heard something about a port being worked on by now?

I assume GOG won't be able to include Z95/the expansion kit -

Also a good point. I'd prefer GOG got Z here because that has 1000+ wishlist votes, but Red Faction would be excellent too, although somebody suggested there were some (significant?) compatibility issues -

I've never really played Red Faction..is there a blue faction in that game as well as a red faction? Because it would then make sense completely.
Snickersnack and other Red Faction voters for the win! And we get two of them.

I'm going to be royally furious if Z doesn't get a GOG release in the forseeable future. Let's sue TET for false advertising. :P

Yes, I'd rather have gotten that as well. But I've actually not played the Red Faction titles before, and at the debut bundle price they were easy enough to justify getting. So points to GOG for getting me to try an new old game. :)

I think G-Doc actually wrote the line.

In that case, they shall BOTH pay. Release the lawyers!
