I have a code for SpaceQuest 1-6 and Kings Quest 1-6 all together. So I figured I would use it as a giveaway. And since it is New Year's eve here in the states, I figured I would go with a drinking theme.

Tell me your favourite drink for New Year's and the best one gets it (or random of those who choose the one I like best). Extra weight for a cocktail recipe (I like my cocktails :) )

Edit: Realized I never specified an end. I'll take drinks until midnight here in Chicago.

Vodka, with orange. Usually absolute. My favourite cocktail for full nights out.

Other favourite drinks for each situation, but since you prefer cocktails...

Champagne, without a doubt. This year I went for a bottle of Pannier Brut Blanc de Noirs.

If you're looking for a cocktail, there's nothing better than getting used to Screwdrivers. One should always have backup kit of orange juice and vodka for those pesky last minute drinks :)

This... mix it with lemon and sugar, add some Ice... done!.. ;p

mix this in a shaker with ice

1 measure of really good rum
3 measures of tropical fruit juice (drinkers choice)
3 dashes angostura bitters

mix well, at least 20 seconds

Serve, (add a little cocktail umbrella and a slice of fruit if your feeling a bit camp)

Top up with coke, add crushed ice.

Replace the Vermouth with Vodka and your on :-)

Can't agree to that. There's a drink for each situation, me thinks.

Beer is good for hanging out with friends on a pub, cocktails for late night parties, wine to accompany food, dygestives (such as cognac or our own local patxaran) for after meals, and nothing beats a fresh Hoegaarden on a sunny day.
