Probably a good move on their part. It's hard to be too upset if you don't get to really know if you should be upset or not, and it allows for tweaked strategies. The stuff that has most people irked is stuff that could easily be tweaked to pacify the crowd. "Oh, it was never 24-hours. You only have to log in every 72-hours! And the transfer fee is only half of what you thought." Well that is sooo much better. We can all be much calmer now.

Already had the same thought. The contradictory information on the web suggests that either some people at MS are trying to react faster than they can spread the information internally or that MS has been planning all along to present different scenarios and check the reactions to all of them at once / a confusingly fast rate.

That's what I thought, but on the one hand the kotaku article I read was updated twice or more (so not very clear in the end), on the other hand µSoft stopped much of its com at the start of the shitstorm so we won't know much for some time I think => wait and see, because right now there is far more speculation and 'apparently' than fact or official info.

MS never responds to rumours. though i expect they'll clarify them at e3

I couldn't be upset i just realized i don't give a shit. As a 360 fan, before this conference i was almost sure i will buy XBone at some point. Now i know i never will. No matter what happens i just distrust these people enough not to bother with enything they sell. Seriously i'll just stick with PC gaming, which is pretty predictable and maybe think of buing a PS4 someday.

Theoretically, Xbox One used games could cost the exact same as a new game, because you are no longer paying for a box, game and an instruction/illustration book; You are only paying for an intellectual property licence which includes the identical lossless digital content of the original brand new purchase.

Yep. A second hand game is cheaper because it's used, you risk it being dirty, even slightly damaged, etc. If what you get is basically a game key that gets linked to you account, there's no quality loss due to the key having been "used" before. I guess at worst, the disc can't be read and then you would have to download.

You do get a box for your shelf though. Full shelves look nice.

I'm not buying it. Not because i'm a fan boy ect I own both 360 and ps3 and a nice gaming pc.

I'm not buying it because of 4 reasons I hate cable, I hate always connected (every 24 hrs is still always connected to me don't care if there is a time limit.), I hate that the Kinect has to be connect just to play it, and I Hate the idea that it is always LISTENING just for me to say XBOX ON says 1984 to much for me. Not conspiracy theorist but No I Personally don't need that in my house.

Sorry but I'm staying out of this next console generation, might dip into the Wii U but thats it not interested in PS4 or XBOX One.
