Neobr10: But that's the point: most gamers buy console to play games. The PS4 seems to be focused in games, the Xbox One doesn't. I don't honestly expect people will buy an expensive piece of hardware just to switch canals through voice commands.
I'm not trying to explain it from anything other than my perspective. In this case, it's what I have, that's how I use my XBox 360, he asked why I'd give a shit about all the "TV" stuff, that's why. I have no idea whether their marketing will do with the XBox One what Nintendo did with the Wii: convince non-core gamers to buy it (by which I mean, people who don't game a lot in the traditional PC/Console gaming sense). While I have an inkling that's what they're going for I have no idea if the market wants it. They sure as fuck didn't want the Kin, but I still can't figure out why the market really wanted the original iPhone either.
Anyway, I wasn't trying to imply a massive group of buyers would want it for this reason, only that that's why I wanted it over the PS4, because I intend to leverage the gaming, entertainment, and network aspects of the box.
