I have a Casio my brother gave me for christmas. I don't know how old it is, it's been a long while, I'd say about five years. It doesn't even have a light, or fluorescent numbers, so at night it's difficult to tell the time and when I walk and I sweat, the back of my wrist and underneath the watch start to smell.

Then again, the watch is also a calculator and a remote control, which you can program to use on your TV, VCR (it's got to be pretty old to be able to use it on VCR's!) and copy or program the signals from other remote controls, so you can use it with other things as well, including air conditioners and remote controlled lights. It may not be fancy but it's quite practical, hence why I'm still wearing it.

If I could afford it, I'd like a Qlocktwo W from Biegert & Funk when it comes out this fall. I'm betting it'll cost an arm and a leg, though.

I also have a Timex but don't really wear it. My problem is that my wrists are really skinny and 95% of the watches out there look really out of place on my hand; this, coupled with the fact that it's now trendy to make OMGXBOXHUGE watches (both thickness and diameter), plus the price for the watches that would actually look good on me, means that I rely on my cell phone to tell the time.

   

Still haven't had the time to put batteries in any of my watches. And now the battery in the clock on the wall has gone too. That now only moves when sufficiently strong earthquake jars it into operation for an hour or two.

Got this watch in the early 90's, the thickness is what I liked as it is extremely thin, liked the odd bezel as well.

I have mistreated it severely over the years as noted by the scratches. It has kept time flawlessly with a battery life of around 3 yrs having never been serviced or cleaned.

I'm not really compatible with quartz watches. I mostly rely on older technologies. I have worn a Seiko Kinetic for years. I'm now using this one. Accurate, readable, maybe a bit on the heavy side, but that suits me.

My phone battery lasts areound a week, cause I use it for it's purpose - CALLING and TEXTING only :P

In my entire life I never had a situation like in horror movies - that my phone battery suddenly dies :P
